Why Don't STO Players Get The Same Deal On Zen As NW Players?

All day, I've been reading about this new promotion that offers bonuses for transferring Zen to a Neverwinter account.

It's a pretty cool promotion, but I couldn't help thinking how it kind of sucks that STO players aren't offered the same kind of deal. What are we, chopped liver? Some of us have been supporting this game a long time (I'm a lifer) and I find it really annoying to see a deal like this offered to players of a game that's only been around a few months and not to those playing one that's been around much longer, people who helped keep this game afloat during a long content drought that might have been the end for another MMO.

I realize PWE didn't own STO during the content drought, but many of those playing now were also around back then and helped to keep this game a property worth acquiring, so that should count for something.

I'll be interested to hear what people think. When PWE offers special bonuses in one game for buying the same Zen all PWE players have to buy to spend in their cash shops, should players of other PWE games get some sort of deal as well?

A lot of this type of stuff is just testing the waters. If the Neverwinter promotion does well, then it makes sense for STO to have a similar promotion. Neverwinter just finished a major expansion last month while STO is currently working on a new Season for the end of the year. So such a promotion would require taking time away from the new content and possibly delaying Season 8. Would be nice if the companion and mount were rare or very rare quality instead of uncommon, but I can see a bunch of people going after the Mask.
