Positron vs. Graviton (SO CONFUSED)

dynaceldynacel Member Posts: 0 Arc User
Is there some sort of graphical/information error with the Adapted Positron and the MACO Graviton deflector arrays or did Cryptic decide to just confuse the two?

Positrons usually give Shield/Structural
Gravitons usually give Graviton/Counter/Subspace

Yet, for some reason both the MACO deflectors seem to be reversed and missing some of the stats typical for the deflector types. Why is that?

Adapted Positron is missing Shield Systems (It's on the Graviton)
MACO Positron is missing Countermeasures and Subspace decompiler (It's on the positron)

I assume when you say Adapted Positron you mean the Borg deflector....

In that case the answer is that one of the set bonuses is an instant shield/hull re-gen feature.... it would be "weird" to have a shield/hull re-gen feature on a set along with a shield/hull bonus on the normal pieces. ^-^

Well, positrons are basically anti-electrons, electrons with a positive charge rather than a negative charge. Gravitons are hypothesized to be the mediating bosons for the gravitational force, but haven't been conclusively proven yet.

..... oh, that wasn't your question? Oops. :P

    Mean "Graviton" there

Yeah, it's weird and a little confusing. And the Omega Tachyon deflector doesn't affect anything a normal tachyon emitter is supposed except for particle generators.
