no sound from new earphones

hi

i bought new wireless earphones which i had to do little adjustments to in windows to correct minor fading of the audio during videos. the ear phones are plug and play using a nano receiver.
i am not getting any audio from STO. the earphones are selected in the audio options which include a name description, so they are being recognized. although, even with all volumes turn up full everywhere on my pc i am not getting any sound from STO.

all other sounds work outside of the game so the earphones are working.

does anyone know wtf i can do fix this problem?

the earphones are logitech h800.

i have some sort of soundblaster sound card but i think the onboard card is being used idk.. as i figure it, the earphones are working on everything but the game and the game itself recognizes them, so there should be no issue here.

Have you tried using different drivers in game menu options?
Logitechs drivers are pretty shi*** to put it nicely. So do an uninstall of the drivers and go to Logitechs website as Recon suggest and pull the latest from there.
I can't suggest you to use any of their optional tools. They are known to cause issues on your computer.
