Quick question about active Doffs

I read somewhere that there are plans in the works to have active doff layouts save with a particular ship. So when you sway from ship to ship, your doffs swap as well. Would it be possible to do this same thing with kits? I generally have three different kits for different situations, and doffs that I like to use with each. Would be awesome if the process of swapping around was a little faster

If it wasn't written in a Patchnote, Dev-blog or news items, you should consider it Vaporware.

I remember this being promised in an interview or an ask cryptic. I forget which. They said we could expect it in an update part way through this season.... I am not sure that we can still expect it though as this is the sort of thing they promise and then quietly forget about.

my doffs do switch. unfortunately they do not CONFIGURE to the new ship. swapping between the Catian Carrier and an escort is problematic, considering i want that energy weapons doff instead of the flight deck officer. it should be easily do-able, since the boffs swap
