I wouldn't go so far as to say none of the posts violate forum rules. If you want to be technical about it, a good portion of them fall under the forum definition of spamming.
But, us forum users would be traumatized if all our DOOOM vanished. We know it's bad for us, but we have an addiction and everybody knows what can happen when addicts go into sudden withdrawal.
It could be fatal, man. Too much shock for the system.
So we let you get your DOOOM fix here as a public service.

What's good for you is that instances are not always numbered sequentially, they open and close as needed. There is also no guarantee that the other instances were anywhere near full either as they are load balanced. You are lucky there are people on Risa to interact with!
I've been playing this game for several years now, and I have always been more than impressed with the robust community of players that populate STO. Looking at the threads in this forum, I can tell that people really care about this game. Not just This is a fun game to play in my spare time kind of care, but in the I am going to pop cyanide if I can't use my nerve tonics on Risa kind of way, and I, for one, think that's refreshing. I enjoy spending my time, both in-game and on these forums, with like minded Trek fans, discussing important issues like butt sliders for female characters and upside-down insignias on one rarely-seen NPC character.
However, I logged on the game earlier, wound up on Risa -- instance number 39 -- and realized that there were ONLY seventeen people in my particular instance. Could this be a sign of things to come? Is this the beginning of an exodus away from STO? I noticed that several players I knew from two years ago no longer play the game, and I'm getting worried.

T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
Risa is absolutely crawling with people. look at all of those instances. I get up at 5 and 6 am to try and get a 3rd place in the race and can no longer do it. get a grip.

Maybe people just aren't lured into continious grinds anymore and are somewhere else, doing things they think is fun, or at least rewards something they can use outside of the summer event?

Though it pains me to admit it I think you could be right. With the rousing success of the Xbone sounding the death knell for PC gaming and the failure of Christ Roberts to raise enough crowdfunding for his latest bid to become world president I fear for the future, I really do.

My friends list had 21 people on it just now, but it keeps fluctuating because 1 person keeps logging off and logging on to different alts.
This constant teetering of 20-21 has me very concerned for the future of STO.
