so i see theres more and more complaining about pugs vrs premades and whatnot.

their only solution seems to be is to kick out the premades.

well hows this for an idea-

in order to que for a pvp arena match you MUST be teamed with at least one other person to even enter the que.

problem solved.

Frankly, I think the only sound advice that one can give new players at this time is to stay away from PVP in STO.

    Fantastic idea maicake.

Encouraging coordinated teamwork, and better team-play in one swoop!

Not really what happens to the people with no friends

All you will find is people spamming zone chat asking for team ups to join pvp

This wouldn't help teamwork as their still two strangers
----=====This is my opinion you don't have to listen and no one else has to read them these "OPINIONS" are based on my exploits and my learning other people will have their opinions and that's fine just don't knock my way of doing things thanks=====----

itd be the first step towards making friends.

sure there'd be strangers teaming from time to time, but a stranger is just someone you dont know yet.

    or worse comes to worse...

you'd just have to make due with all the other single player content...

i also think this would automatically filter out gold farmers.

Less will Que then. And don't premades have the ability to challenge each other outside the ques? OrganizedPvP channel and Challenge matches. Solo PvPers only have the ques, or and endless duel via the challenge match.

How is this proposal any different from forcing premades to group in private matches? If you close the public queues to individual players, private matches are the only option you will have.

    . Solo PvPers

right there is the problem, pvp first and foremost should be teambased

i never said it was different.

its just a complete opposite of what's been said before.

Aside from just PvP, having friends is generally good for a positive outlook on life and overall better health.

So make friends, and convince them to pewpew other people's friends with you.

They can join OrganizedPvP channel or Tyler Durden channel, or both!

They can also take part in bootcamp in some fashion, either be a volunteer or a student.

Then they can start to make friends who PvP.

Well the durden channel is dead already, its up continuously yet no one says a word.
Opvp, most of them aren't interested on there anyway, even more so if you are new to PvP.
PvP bootcamp? Excellent, we shall lay hours and hours of time down on that even though there isn't enough hours in the day due to some people actually work for a living.

Separating premades and pugs is a solution. This is a trolution.

I queue solo over half the time and find it fun to try to get kills against premades while in a pug even if losing, and sometimes manage to win.

I do this too. I have friends but I enjoy being a lone wolf.

So.. wait.. you have to be teamed with at least 1 other player..

Meaning you have to be in a team of 2....

And team Maximium sizes are 5...

So.. How does that work in the Queues then?

Do they all just get changed then to automatic 4 v 4s for Arenas?

That sounds like too much work.. Go back to your drawing board and find a way that involves less work! :P
