This post has been edited to remove content which violates the Perfect World Entertainment Community Rules and Policies . ~BranFlakes
I checked in with the team and they are aware and hope to have a resolution for it out in a future patch -- I don't have an ETA to provide, unfortunately.
Cheers,
Brandon =/\=
Only TCD Subspace infuser says "projectiles" all of the others only say "torpedoes". So does this mean that those projectile consoles that buffed both torpedoes and mines (e.g. ambiplasma envelope) no longer buff both, or is it an oversight in the icon revamp page?
Just visual -- the icon art is the only thing changing.
Cheers,
Brandon =/\=
This is good. But may I please draw your attention again to Romulan Embassy boffs missing various body parts?
Boff heads gone invisible!
All these Embassy boffs start losing body parts when trained by another Captain. My guess is, that this is due to them being unchangeable (with the result of no costume/body parts checks being done upon transfer back).
Honestly, I find it disappointing you guys keep ignoring this issue. As these boffs have 2.0% extra CrtH, they're kind of a must -- making visiting your bridge, and having a suspension-of-disbelief experience there, an utter impossibility. That ruins a great part of the enjoyment of the game for me.
The fix, I'm pretty sure, is exceedingly simple (schematically):
"IF unchangeble Rom Embassy boff, THEN re-assert known outfit anyway upon (re)joining a crew."
Also, while we're at it, PLEASE, make them changeble! I'm not sure what you guys were thinking, but it's horrid to have your entire bridge filled with the same Rom clones (that look fugly as hell to boot). All you have to do, is change 1 little changeble flag, from '0' to '1'.
Thank you for your time.
Thats all we really want to see Brandon, and ty for the reply. Wasn't trying to be rude, but the thread in question has had little to no feedback on it, as others around. Again we understand you guys can't reply to each and every thread. But we have had two patches with no fix.. so for us is it.. are things being looked at, on the issue, and is something getting done.
We just want to try to knock these bugs out, and helping you guys in the process.. all we ask is that it gets looked into and fixed.
Cheers,
Locutus
Any ships that are already owned will have cloak removed.
Any ships that are purchased new will not have cloak.
Nice Bait-and-switch.
This.

Do you have an ETA or update of any kind on the KDF Marauding reward being fixed. It's been broken since the doff system was released. We were told on Jan 16th, 2012 "Our top people are on this". From that point we've received zero recognition this bug even exist.
But I have to ask, there's a bit of a game-breaker issue with Mine Trap Civilians not leaving homes that were definitely intact after phase 3, preventing max rewards. On top of that, I haven't been able to maintain Quantum Slipstream through multiple sector blocks or un-select a mission as primary since the LoR release.
Any ETA on those fixes?
Thank you for the prompt response to all the feedback. Resubscribed.
...because he will find an easy way to do it.

Anyone want to give me a Temporal Heavy Dreadnought pack? I'll be your friend
Meh, It's such a good ship as is, (The Elachi Monbosh Battleship). Being without the cloak, it never should have had in the first place, really doesn't take anything away for me. I still love it !
I can't really complain, seeing as how the both the KDF and Romulan timeships don't have cloaks either.... But that's another topic for another thread.
Nice job on the changes to the Subspace Integration Circuit console.
You did a good job preserving it's PVE usefulness, while making it a tad more balanced for the PVP folks. Win, win.
I can tell you from my limited experience with it, getting hit with it multiple times in a match really wasn't very fun at all. It sucked quite frankly. :P
The only real question would be why dedicate the time to change the icon art in the first place? given the detail of some of those images I'm sure that took longer than a week to put together, change all the associations in the code to reference the new art icon AND check for errors.
they are ruining the mirror event
Thank you.
You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.
Not bait and switch if the ship was never meant to come with the cloak in the first place.
You can proclaim that all you want, but it still wont change that fact..
Which is worse incompetence or dishonesty? Doesn't really matter to me they both are bad.
Wouldn't call it 'Bait & Switch' per se; but c'mon, it's not like the devs were designing this ship, and then, after release, suddenly went: "OMG! How did that cloak get there!?"
I actually agree on this ship not having a cloak; but that decision should have been made prior to release. And not having done so is simply sloppy, and only serves to aggravate people who already bought it.
It didn't list getting cloak in the Dev Blog, the escort doesn't have a cloak.
The cloak was obviously never intended which is why it's being changed.
If you purchased the Monbosh mainly because it had cloak. IMO at that point, you really don't see the value of the ship itself. Cloaking is nice, but not really needed for cruisers.
And as usual, my post about the KDF Boff reward costume has been ignored again. I do hope the devs understand this only fuels the "Devs are Anti-KDF" argument. I've been complaining about this bug for months.
A cloaking device doesn't just stand up and sneak itself onto a ship (although if a dev tells me Rom snuck a cloaked cloaking device onto the ship I might forgive them).
It was placed on that ship ... wait for it ... INTENTIONALLY. It's on ships already purchased on Holodeck, and its being removed. Pretty standard definition of bait and switch. Although this one is a little more blatant than the usual cycle of "release ship with awesome features ... remove awesome features".
Please tell me it was an accident so I can mock the complete naivety of such delusions Better yet just give me what you are smoking ......
It would of served better as a bait and switch if they actually told people about it first. It was never in the dev blog, they also never tested the ship. It was just bad code on their part
As I stated earlier, a cloak on a cruiser isn't needed and I'd laugh at any player who purchased this ship just because it had a cloak.
