Season Six Unfinished Business

More than a year later, Season Six's content still has its share of problems, even after all the changes introduced in Season Seven and Legacy of Romulus. Here's a running list of some notorious bugs and other curious foibles that I see every single day during my fleet mark grinds (this is by no means a complete list, and more bugs will be added if more are mentioned here by the community):

General:
  • Major UI bug persists where attempting to check another player's info (including your own character) fails to show the proper information, or any information at all.
  • This includes species, career, gender, rank and grade, diplomatic rank, accolade points, or even starship name.
  • Sometimes a name appears for a ship, but it is for a shuttle, even when that player is actively piloting a starship.
  • This is most likely tied to the dual active starship/shuttle system introduced prior to Season Seven.

Colony Invasion:
  • Diplomats sometimes not being counted after having been tagged for transport in Colony Invasion (the running theory is that if you or the diplomat is actively taking damange at the time of tag, or if you tag while in Red Alert status, it fails to count as a rescue).
  • Sometimes the final diplomat count exceeds three, and shows four out of three saved at the final tally. The reward remains the same as if you had saved three, however.

Starbase Incursion:
  • Voices from the dead (insert obligatory Sixth Sense joke here) repeatedly blirting out "Captain's ready for transport" or "Weapons fire detected" etc. in Starbase Incursion in the same spot after you kill the saboteurs.
  • Every enemy species in Incursion uses the same male Klingon voices (including Feds!), even if the saboteur is female.
  • Final boss/captain target has a widely variable progress bar. Sometimes there's ample time to take him/her/it out, and other times it is extremely difficult or impossible even with a balanced veteran team that knows what they're doing and what to expect.
  • There is no clear in-game explanation as to what affects how much time is left in the enemy captain's progress bar when the third part of the mission begins.
  • Occasionally, the mission can be impossible to complete if the game fails to spawn the enemies that are supposed to be protecting the final captain.


Starbase Fleet Defense:
  • Frieghters sometimes collides into, and gets stuck on higher tier (3 and 4, but cannot confirm 5 yet) transwarp gate (always on the left side of gate if you view it from the perspective of the fleet starbase.
  • This used to prevent the arrival of enemy ships until frieghter became unstuck (either on its own or by player ships nudging it loose), but no longer seems to be the case (ships arrive regardless of freighter being stuck...good fix, but only two frieghters need protecting).
  • On occasion when spawning into a match with a Tier 5 starbase, one player out of the twenty that arrive may spawn inside the base itself (the primary mushroom/dome section). This player is unable to escape or fire at targets, but can be attacked by enemies.
  • The only way to correct this is by the player allowing himself to be destroyed, or by simply leaving the match and attempting to rejoin.


Fleet Starbase items:
  • The female version of the Odyssey Basic Uniform fails to display all admiral pips (lower half through vice) on both sides of the collar (they are only visible on the right side of collar, not both as seen in the male version).
  • There is a minor geometry bug in the female version as well that causes a loss of mass (becomes noodle thin) at the elbow joints whenever the arms are in a flexed position (i.e. while standing idle with the Thoughtful stance and arms behind the back).
