can you turn off that auto dimming thing?

i guess its really neat for those that cant see very well or something.

but every time i open my bank, my inventory goes dark and only the items i can "use" is lit up.

it is so annoying..
[12:35] Vessel Two of Two Unimatrix 01 deals 225232 (271723) Plasma Damage to you with Plasma Lance.
[12:44] Vessel One of Two Unimatrix 01 deals 1019527 (1157678) Kinetic Damage to you with Plasma Energy Bolt Explosion.

    yup that only usable things showing bright annoys me too

    They just introduced that system... If there is one thing you can be sure off, it is that it won't be altered anytime soon.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    Only time my stuff goes black is when I open the Character select screen and depending if i have my character selected my ground stuff are lit up, and if it's my ship my space stuff is lit up.....but when I'm using the bank everything is lit up....unless the character select screen is on.

    I'll add my voice to the clamour that this is an annoying if well meaning feature.

    auto dimming of inventory? Only place I see this is on the selling tab of the exchange (for non bound gear), character window for space gear when characters are selected or ground gear when ship.shuttle is selected..... when I open the inventory itself with bank open (not character screen) nothing is dimmed.

    If it's gettign dimmed you're either the victim of a really bad glitch, or you have the character select window open.

    I'm guessing that by "opening the inventory" he has the inventory set to open with the character select screen and is clicking on the character button in the UI rather than moving down that 1-2 mm to the inventory button located right below it in the UI.

    Well there are defeault keybinds for u and i. U opens up the character screen and the inventory, I only opens the inventory.

    I find that quite a useful feature when I'm trying to put stuff on my ship etc. Makes it much faster to see what I can use and what not.

    and I like it too for that.

    and do we really want them to mess around with a system that is integrated with more things then just the bank.
