Seeing more Nebula Class ships :)

I love seeing actual Star Trek ships in a Star Trek game so having the Nebula as a free ship in the giveaway and seeing people use them make me happy.

I was actually intending to get an Intrepid-class ship instead of the Nebula, but I think she works VERY well atm!

While I actually don't like the Nebula design, I appreciate this sentiment. I'd rather see a million Nebulas than one bloody Scimitar. Or any TRIBBLE that comes out of the Lockboxes.

Very happy to get a Nebula. The only other way to get this ship is to grind out 200k dili or pay real money.

It's huge to get this for nothing, thank you so much Cryptic and to a lesser extent PwE.

I acquired everything this week free of charge, despite paying a good 60 dollars before subbing to Gold (which i promptly dropped like anyone who has this sub should).

They could have just as soon done nothing at all. I mean, if you're doing your job right, nobody will have known you've done anything at all. :D

I'm pretty happy with it, myself!

It might just be enough to get me out of the Atrox for a while. I love her but I'd really like to be flying a Federation ship, and the Nebula is pretty.

Its to bad the Klingons don't have more ships and that they could of given away a free one. I wish their was more Klingon ships in Star Trek episode or movies.

Indeed, althrough it looks like a Galaxy Class after a crash with a small moon, lol.

Seriously, its BOFF/Console layout if by far better than its big brothers, which is a shame for Cryptic.

I hve no idea why i was buying it when it was released and i never realy used it, but it's nice to see a bit more TNG spirit in this cold game.

This isn't meant to be a slur on Cryptic or the direction they have taken the game, but when I saw all those Nebula class ships outside Earth Space Dock my first thought was "see, now it looks like a Star Trek game". :)

I already have that ship, and I really wished they would beef it up a little so more people flew the cannon ships.

Putting in an end game k't'inga refit that does not require fleet membership/grinding would be a nice start

I was actually happy with the choice of given ships. My Fed and KDF alts are a Sci and Eng respectively so it gave each of them another high end ship to build and use. But even still for fun my tacs also claimed the ships cause I'm not against a tac in a cruiser or a sci from time to time it's a nice way to mix things up and challenge yourself on that particular char with a ship they might not have normally used.

I like seeing the variety of ships from different cultures and species .... not just the boring same-o same-o

....and the more weird ships I see, the more I know people are throwing their money at STO, and I can keep playing happpily knowing that they are supporting the game financially and it will last a long time while I fly around in my stock ships happy as a clam...and have my real life cash in my pocket for munchies and beer..

Although as a counterpoint you really should see Qo'noS at present. Orion Peanut ships are everywhere. :D

It appears that some people in Qo'noS orbit don't pick up after their Gigantic space dog.

I would have liked to have been able to acquire the ships even without being the required level. I could have let the Nebula sit in my list until I was able to use it but, because I am not an Admiral I can't claim it.

    Ain't this the truth.

I'm unsure about the Nebula as a ship though. I just went into an STF with mine and didn't perform that well, at least in the second. My Galaxy Retrofit fared much better. The Nebula seemed sluggish somewhat and didn't seem to deal half as much damage as my Galaxy even though I've got more Tactical slots going on.

I will have to get rid of them Transphasics though. They're garbage.

Too bad the Nebula and Galaxy suck in this game, even though they were quite strong in the TV show and canon.

they never used cannons in canon. Mostly phaser beam arrays. :P

Frankly, I think the only sound advice that one can give new players at this time is to stay away from PVP in STO.
