Graphics Issues with "reward" bridge officers

It would seem that many of the "reward" BOFFs have graphics glitches that cause the skin to disappear, and/or the face/head.
This has been reported in numerous threads here in the forums. One of the more apparent instances of this issue are the Romulan Embassy BOFFs.
Reports have also been made about the Jem'Hadar and Borg Boffs.
It would seem that this glitch has something to do with the fact said BOFFs cannot have their appearance altered by a tailor. Only common thread (pardon the pun) I can see.
