There seems to be a lot of questions about the unique console and new weapons being introduced in this Lock Box -- I'll try and get one of the Systems Designers to stop by this thread later today or tomorrow to provide more info.

You bet your donuts we have questions. . .you can't just release potentially broken stuff like this and not expect people to break down the door asking questions about the details :P

Regenerative Tissue ? Ground Trait: I assume this affects medical heals only, not shield heals. (Also, would you please check whether the creative trait works for engineer heals and damage abilities. This was reported to be broken on the Tribble forums before Legacy of Romulus launched.)
Elachi disruptor weapons: Are these cannons only? If not, do beams have new animations?
Heavy Crescent Wave Cannon: I assume only one of these can be equipped per ship.
I find it interesting that the only thing special about the Elachi Survivor Duty Officers is that they have the Elachi survivor trait, which gives more damage to Elachi only. Other than that, they are like any other purple DOFF it seems. So, either A, Cryptic is giving something that is only useful in a handfull of missions, or B, the Elachi will be the next big enemy. Problem with Crytpic, it could be either. Most of this box is trash for me.
*APPLAUDS*
OMG Cryptic, there will be no console sharing in this lockbox and a universal one instead!!! Awesome, this is the best decision you could have made! And you're considering this model for future lockboxes? Amazing! I really look forward for the factions in STO preserving that little uniqueness to their consoles that was blured with the sharing.
PLEASE SOMEONE AT CRYPTIC READ THIS: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS MOVE!
I still can't believe my eyes. I really hated the console sharing thing and seeing this new direction is one of those little STO dreams come true for me. Universal lockbox consoles are the way to go. Give a raise to whoever came up with this!
This makes the Elachi lockbox the best lockbox ever, just for that! Now please excuse me, I'm going to go and buy several packs of lockbox keys in support of this awesome decision.
Looks good Cryptic, except for one thing. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE discontinue or lower the chances of getting those damn DO mini-packs. I have more of these then I ever need thank you very much.
The doff mini-packs are the only source of certain rare doffs after the corresponding regular packs have been discontinued. These doffs sell for millions of EC on the Exchange. Your suggestion would reduce their supply and thereby increase their prices further.
Re: Elachi disruptor weapons -- there are Beams and Cannons (only the cannons have unique FX). There are also bolt ground weapons.

Nothing I didn't expect here.
Still concerned over how the Weapons will by pass shields and how much of a portion of damage resist (Expecting the chance to be 2.5% and the Resistance By pass to be the usual Disruptor proc perhaps.. hopefully not in addition to it)
You think that your beta test was bad?

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
I mean, as long as we are piloting crazy, non-Federation/KDF ships, we might as well get something that actually appeared in the show, like a Fesarius vessel or a Talarian warship
At some point maybe we will see a lockbox that isn't based on whatever the flavor of the moment enemy happens to be.
Up next , Voth lockbox just after Season 8 drops very likely.
That said, this box is full of nothing I am interested in.
Time to start saving EC for the next one.
Honestly, I am getting sick of the "enemy" group lockboxes.
How about maybe something like A TOS Lockbox or a TNG or VOY themed lockbox.
Nah that would make too much sense. Basing a lockbox off one of the many Trek Series out there. Also would require some actual work. For enemy group lockboxes they don't have to make new ship skins (just recycle the bad guy ones), regurgitate formerly available mirror ships, and put in a bunch of consumables and stuffs.
Whatever, nothing to see here. Time to move along.

Yeah because putting Federation, Klingon or Romulan ships in lockboxes will go swell on theses forums. ...I prefer if they kept the lockbox alien
I know you guys think the lock boxes have saved Star Trek online from certain death but all it has done is delayed the inevitable. Players hate these because the chances of getting them is so low that its not worth doing. Odds are nearly better of hitting the Powerball.

Because they never encoutered alien races in TOS or TNG or any of the shows ??
Not saying the lockbox ship prize should be faction specific, just that this constant flow of enemy tech is ridiculous (and lazy), when they have a galaxy (and years) of options to pull from.
Once they start giving us the enemy weapons and ships, the enemy loses all sense of mystery and menace. The Elachi wont be half as scary to a new player who sees dozens of their ships being flown around the galaxy, and their weapons and turrets and drones sure wont be as mysterious and frightening once thats just something that anyone who got the lucky pull from the box can do. The current take on lockboxes does nothing but serve to make their enemies less potent.
I too think the lockboxes should remain faction neutral, I'm just sick of flavor of the moment enemy lockboxes.

Unfortunately that's how they get the okay to make new Enemies....they have to make a profit for making the Elachi in the first place, and best way is to put them in a lock box, but at least they did not do it the first day LOR came out, and waited.

Then buy it off the exchange. I've gotten every single ship I've ever wanted in this game ... and for the lock boxed ones ... most commonly off the exchange.
Oh great another lockboxes. Cryptic if you are going to Continue with these lockboxes, can you at least make them look like Reverse engineering ships rather than giving as the real ships. And make them faction Dependency looks.
"You ask why we give our ships computer normal emotions. Do you really want a warship incapable of loyalty?"
All I know is if the stats on the lobi ship and consoles - and console sets are AWESOME!! - I will have a heck of a lot of Lobi to get:( This is going to get expensive.
At some point maybe we will see a lockbox that isn't based on whatever the flavor of the moment enemy happens to be.
From a marketing perspective it makes sense to have the Lockboxes match the most current content in the game, its already being hyped. Random stuff out of left field would feel disconnected, and also create the impression that story content related to that alien would be forthcoming.
Good Gosh! this new lock box packs a wallop! Lots of goodies. I will save some of these as well to open in the future. I hadn't open all my Dominion yet. Can see my Romulan in one of these ships.

Really don't understand why you guys don't make those Lobi consumables just crafting receipts...

good job on this one
and went in the right direction with the uni console this time
look forward to more like this
Jem lockbox was one of the more perfect lockboxes. Enough with the special disruptor based weapons, how about phasers get some loving!
LTS, here since...when did this game launch again?
Err, wat?
Bug ship, JHAC, D'Kora, Wells, Galor? Did you forget about all of these CANON ships?
Kirk's Protege.

Can you please tell us if the Elachi ships have unique bridges?
Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.
There is a unique Elachi bridge that was made for these ships. The same bridge will be included on both and it's pretty cool!

Images will be in tomorrow's Dev Blog
Also, FYI -- the ship was seen on Enterprise in the episode "Silent Enemy".
