Why do I have more then 1 alt? Well I didn't want to limit myself to just FED. So I tried KDF, it's now my favorite. You may have hear about Legacy of Romulus...so that's 3 different experiences that you are limited yourself. Oh and also multiple that by 3 different classes Science, Engineering and Tactical. And on top of that you have race variations within FED and KDF.
8k dilithium refine limit on every character increasing the amount you can refine everyday.
Ability to grind EC's on every character through a farm mission or other quick way.
Both of those makes having multiple alts good for fleets because thats more that can be contributed. Also Alts need FC to get fleet gear. Once the main has everything it needs theres no reason to keep contributing except to help the fleet, Having alts pushes that time back.

350.000 and you are 2 years in the fleet (thats 7000 fm's).
Our SB tier 4 needs every day 2622 FM's, dil.mine 1052 = 3674
So you donated less then 2 days of FM's in 2 years.
Im at 33 mil. in my fleet across multi-toons / accounts.
Actually it was 610k I discovered I had miscalculated. Also the first half of my time online with this game I was working to try to survive irl not everyone has the capacity to just stay online all day and grind out millions of FM Credits. Over a year ago I almost died in the hospital and had to stay offline because for about 4-5 months I was out of commission for everything, I couldn't play either my fatigue was so great then that I had to stay in bed for most of my time while awake because even sitting and using my hands to control my characters was exhausting.
So you see, you really have no idea what you're saying nor do you have any clue as to what the problem here was.
In any case I'm no longer there, and won't be coming back to this thread to continue to defend myself from people who have no idea what type of people I've had to deal with in this fleet. They have some people there who are not who they make themselves out to be to those in charge and that's unfortunate for them, but it's no longer my problem. I just thought I might bring it to the attention of the community (the issue not who they are) to reveal that there is this stingyness going on out there and that overall it's really a design flaw rather than just simply dealing with people with poor moral values.
Ah, one mans virtue is another mans sin. Morals are entirely subjective. You just made the mistake of thinking that there is value in public discourse on the various types of play styles. For every sympathetic ear you find, a dozen dissenters will emerge. It takes a slightly thick skin to survive in the forums.

Ah, all I am going to do is help my fleet for at least a year, and my daily dil requirement is in the tens of thousands at times. So for me I think 1 toon is enough.
Honestly, I'd love to have people buying stuff from my fleet's SB, just because it would mean people would be donating because I would've been actually getting some successful recruitment.
OP, if you need a fleet, I'd be quite glad to have you in mine. Buying stuff, past a few days of being bottom rank (fleet policy), wouldn't be an issue. We DO have tons of provisions (except on the mine, for understandable reasons), so anything you want isn't a problem.
What fleet do you run? Is it fed side? I've been looking for a less restrictive fleet myself.
My fleet has a rule like that where gotta donate 100k total on the alt but we're T5 so maybe that makes more sense but it has lead to me taking my alt to a diff fleet to buy stuff.
Mine doesn't have a rule. But if you're not pulling enough effort, and I don't mean by some arbitrary FC-tracking scheme, you have to put up with me constantly reminding you what a crapsack slacker you are.

Feel free to send me an in-game email or a PM here on the forum, and I can tell you more about it.
You wouldn't gain 'instant access' or anything. Nothing against you of course, but gotta take measures in a game where so much can be taken so easily sometimes.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

It is Fed-side.
Of course, I have no intention of coming in right away and draining your fleet stores. I'm just looking for a fleet with lesser restrictions. The one I'm in now has very steep requirements for gaining access to fleet weapons.
I'm looking for a change of pace anyway, there aren't many people who are very active in fleet chat.
