Many of us have favourite races that we'd like to see more of, in various capacities.
Whether these be major species like Vulcans, who just don't seem to be around or Lesser species like Boslic, you would like to be around.
The chances of some of these ever happening are rather slim, but lets toss logic aside and have a bit of fun!
Personally, I'd like Boslic Bridge Officers.
I'd also like to kill more ferengi, and have some nice vulcan ships.
What races would you like to see, and in what capacity?

Shran FTW.
what do you think Pinkskins ?
---- FIRE EVERYTHING ! ----
Hehe - I loved the Andorians in Enterprise.
Yes, they were a bit paranoid but they were so damn funny!
The day will not save them. And we own the night.
Kirk's Protege.
I agree. There should be a rule that if a race has been in a show as part of the crew they would automatically be in the game. Romulans also need Suliban to give them more choices.
I think the next faction(s) should be Vulcans aligned with the Federation and Cardassians alinged with the KDF instead of always forcing each new faction to choose between the two. The Vulcan faction would add vulcan ships and a Vulcan story line.

I would love anything featuring Suliban - especially is it gave us boffs, or captains :P
If they ever do add them, I hope you can make their faces puff up!
Just remembered: I'd also love Kriosians' - in any capacity. (preferably boff/captain)
That said, if they add more playable species, I'll need to make more characters... I already have too many :S
The day will not save them. And we own the night.
Denobulans!
Sulibans!
More Tholian story content ....
and to finish off with:
Perhaps the Breen (with their badass super awesome disabling weapon version 2.0)
I hope STO get's better ...
That could be hard to implement
Although their ships are beautiful...
The day will not save them. And we own the night.

Agreed
AGREED
AGREEEEEDDDD!!!!
GOING INTO OVERDRIVE!
Oh how I love the Aquatics!
Have not even seen them on DvD yet, but I for one cannot wait for Enterprise!
I hope STO get's better ...
Yeah, I mean - we have Pakleds !?! for the Federation, but we don't have the Denobulans - an actual member of the UFP and one of the oldest ones, too.
Phlox was really one of the most remarkable chars. in Star Trek, together with Jean-Luc Picard and Elim Garak he's in my top 3 Trek chars. of all time.
Well, can't say that I see this happening as the Vulcans can't be a faction, they're already a founding member of the United Federation of Planets.
And I'd rather have Cardassians as a stand alone, even if it means they need to ally with Fed & KDF like the Romulans. Putting them just on one side would make them a vassal state and I don't think that does Cardassians justice.
Out of my Top 3 species in Trek, I only have one availible in STO.
Denobulans & Cardassians now, are you listening Cryptic!?
That would be an awesome mechanic as a nod to ENT. and fun to see in game. Maybe it can confuse or 'freeze' the oponnent for a short period of time as a Denobulan special ability.
I would pay so much to fly: this...
The Xindi Reptillian ships are quite nice too. And I'm very fond of Son'a Ships... Although as previously discussed somewhere on here, if they were included - they'd almost definitely be a lockbox ship. Since they have the:
The day will not save them. And we own the night.
OOoooohhh stop making me excited!
Heart racing an' all!
I think we ought to play a mission were we make allies with ALL the Xindi,
and once we have done that, you have purchasbale Xindi TO PLAY ON THE FED SIDE!
Oh ... how amazing! :cool::):)
WITH A XINDI PLAYABLE SHIP, EXCLUSIVE TO THE BUY!!!!!!!!!!
I hope STO get's better ...
I've been patiently waiting for a Cardassian faction (or more likely, faction featuring cardassians). I even have my characters planned out. Specifically a Female Cardassian called "Mi`arm". Just for when it becomes a Legate.
Wouldn't that just be brilliant? Borg Elite tactical drone turns around, about to do their uber damage blast when suddenly "fwuup!" *Bloaty head* borg does a bemused head tilt...
Cryptic, hire this man!
The day will not save them. And we own the night.
Why no Horta Captain?
The day will not save them. And we own the night.
Can you imagine trying to design costumes for that?
Little top hat, a monocle...
The day will not save them. And we own the night.
They already have them... Blue, Purple, Orange, etc.
Gotta say, love the idea of a Xindi arc. It's awesome. Maybe uniting the races again as a FE series where you earn a choice of BOFF, an item set maybe (although "giving" us a ship is unlikely... it'll end up in the Xindi Lockbox "Available whilst the FE is running"). Give me my hairy arboreal already.
Also agreed that Denobulans need introducing. I'd almost say to drop Pakleds (except that some players will have rolled them and like them) due to being the only race with a NEGATIVE racial trait. WTF, Cryptic? Either have every race with a negative to balance the positives (just look at D&D races for examples... Half-Orc strong, not so charismatic) or have no negatives at all.
That said, I want to play a DOSI.

Third this!
Coridan
Their world was once a major power, but by the time of TOS had been exploited by alien influences. In DS9 they were attacked by the dominion. Might make for a someone negative outlook on aliens. Plus they look cool.
Farians
I want to go to Fairus prime. They are an independent well developed world. I would love to see a cityscape adventure zone, where the goal of the missions was to curry favor with the Farians. Klingon and Federation players could attempt to increase their score or sabatoge the score of the other side by doing missions, the higher a groups score the better stores would open up on the planet.
The Swarm
They're just cool....
