What happened to the old Antiprotonen DHC Sound?

Good Morning,

Since yesterday it sounds like a mix between Plasma und Polaron.
CAN YOU PLEASE BRING THE OLD SOUND BACK?!
You should focus on more important things like fixing bugs etc. than changing good things.


Sorry it should mean Antiproton, in Germany it is Antiprotonen^^

One of my ships uses antiproton, I'll go in-game and check.

Not that I like things like that being changed, but antiproton cannons were really the most irritating weapon noise. I often had to take of my headphones in STFs because the noise of them was so annoying.

^^^ This! Back to back with the TOS retro phaser, the antiprotons made the most annoying and irritating sound of all the space weapons.

I kinda miss the OOMPH feel to it, but oh well. New sound is similar to the tappy sound of the Andorian wing cannons.

I don't know, but the Phaser DHC's may have also a new sound? My Armitage sounds different as before the patch.
