So, you guys are releasing an update with known bugs/issues, is there a reason for this?

    Thanks

"The Reman Headgear has been adjusted to prevent clipping."

I had just started to get used to that. ;)

Can we get controls for the modules in the Multi Vector Assault Mode Escort. The Vectors go where ever they want and set Focus does nothing. Plus I have no clue when the module gets destroyed.

I am beginning to think that is beyond their coders/programmers skills. It has been that way for years, and will not change.

I just stopped using that ship.

They always have... It's called the Holodeck server.

    Doh!

    Sorry, couldn't resist. :P

Seriously though Cryptic. There are many issues outstanding since the launch of LoR (and more that were released after) over two months ago. Please take some time to address those.

    Thank you.

You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.

Branflakes, are the Hangar UI elements still massive for those on lower resolutions?

It somehow saddens me that the list of known issues kinda ruins the whole point of the pet update..... pretty much every cool pet is on that list ! :(

Seriously they're releasing this now? But I tested it and it's no where near ready to be released...unless they've made some major improvements that I somehow missed this will end badly.:(

Oh yes, they are ... and no, they arent going to do a damn thing about it.

The UI is fully scalable, and those UI elements can also be toggled off. Both are more than adequate solutions for people unwilling to using monitors with modern resolutions.

    Colony Rescue

Players can no longer simultaneously rescue the same NPC for credit.

Did you fix the annoying "Ambassador beams out but we get no credit for it." bug?

Still waiting on the Bridge Officers/Department Heads errors to get fixed.

    This too.

The UI is not fully scalable. The entire UI is scalable. There's a difference.

STO runs from 800x600 up. If they do not want to support folks running less than 1920x1080, then they need to state that.

Even at 1400x900, things are uber tight with the new elements. Couldn't imagine it for folks running less than that.

Turning the elements off - is problematic.

You lose the ability to track how they've ranked up.
You lose the ability to track their shields/hull.
You lose the easy reference to what's going on with the pets.
You lose the ability to give commands to separate hangars.

If the UI were actually fully scalable - if you could scale individual elements - then it would be a different matter.

So uh...nope...going to have to disagree.

The Transwarp window no longer shows transwarp destinations marked as Elite or Vice Admiral.

    What does this mean?

Will this update fix the issue with buying Jem'Hadar Attack Ship carrier pets? I own (and have unpacked) both the Playable Attack Ship, and the Jem Dreadnaught.

I already own Advanced Jem'Hadar Attack Ship pets from the Dil store, but I cannot seem to buy more of them now, and I'm hoping to snag some Elite versions.

    Oh joy, another rage mechanic.

That's not how I was hoping the pet XP buff would work.

I was hoping it would build XP for time survived or whatever, then stop at that level and remember the XP earned.

So, over time, your pets could build XP until they were rank 5.

But a temporary buff that only lasts while you're in a mission?
That doesn't motivate me to keep them alive, I'll just replace them instead if they fall!

    Terradome was removed?
    Why?

Granted, I didn't play it that often, but it was nice to do sometimes.

You're not getting my 8472 Telepathic Inhibitor back!
And yes, I kept it after the mission was done. ;)

Who at Cryptic is it that has a cool idea; gets half of it done; release a buggy version of it and completly ignores the issues caused while starting with another 50% of a new cool idea.

Does fixing stuff or releasing properly tested stuff (and fixed!) makes money? YES IT DOES. Why? Because ppl. would stop laughing at you and take you more serious.

"Cryptic? Oh yes. They take their game serious. I love to spend money there because I know issues get taken care of" <- Sounds good? Yeah. Work for it! Right now its more like:

"Cryptic? Eh... lol. Buggy mess. Problems get ignored. I don't spend too much"

Yes, there is a big list of features added / stuff fixed in the current notes, but that does not chance the fact that you love to sit out & playing the three monkeys (ref.) at a lot of other very blatant obvious issues and ppl getting annoyed by that.

Current Terradome removed to replace it with a cool version of it. Brilliant idea. Honestly!

Current Terradome removed to replace it with a cool version... sometime in the future but we really don't know when. <- Don't you get the amount of facepalm in that descission?

Meh... enough talking to walls today :(

Yes, greed. Same reason they haven't fixed the missing body parts on my Embassey boffs (even though I've been bringing it up for ages): releasing new stuff, so as to make more money, always takes priority over doing something as banale as fixing bugs.

    Very sad, yet very true.

Heh, if I remember correctly - I think they said that it was underplayed - had some bugs...I swear it was in a recent podcast or interview, but I can't remember.

Yes, I understand how I started and ended that sentence.

no bug fixes? OMGWTFBBQ for C***t F***king Sake!! what does it take for you to stop piling on new stuff and fix whats already in the game.

Come on Cryptic really. Now I love the carrier UI update, but i'd be more than happy to wait another month for it if it meant that what I have to go through now was a little more reliable.

Players may now purchase up to 100 Small or Large Auxiliary Batteries, Shield Batteries, Weapons Batteries, Engine Batteries, Power Cells, Shield Charges, Major or Minor Components, Major or Minor Regenerators in a single transaction.

And when are players going to be able to buy the Mk I Photon Torpedo Launcher in bulk? You realise that having to buy them one at a time, when you need a few hundred for a fleet project, is a royal pain in the TRIBBLE, right?

    Nerf is OP, plz nerf
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
