Equipment/Ships we'll never see in STO

I'll bet there are quite a few things from canon and semi-canon Star Trek titles (be they films, books, games, etc) that we might never see in-game because of licensing issues. One of the first things that come to mind are the weapons from Elite Force II, like the arc welder gun or the Idryll staff weapon, or the Exomorph monsters, even.
My question to you guys is "What sort of things would you lament over never seeing in STO because whatever-license-holder won't let it happen?"

I recommend you quell it, because those comics suck something fierce, trust me. Unless there were actual novels, then I don't know about those. But there were some comics which stunk on ice.

- Cobra Phasers that do "compression" damage and not just stun or wide beam versions, while STOs compression Phasers look like generic Sci fi guns.
- TNG (Season 3-7) uniforms that don't look like trash.
- A real Yesterdays Enterprise Uniform, not just a ugly belt.
Well not really a equipment item itself, but more something like a option, regarding ships equipment:
- The option to make Cannons look like Beams and vice versa, just the visuals and audio.
(i hate that cannon weapons are the strongest weapons and get the better BOFF Powers than Beam Weapons)
It's a shame we will never have this beauty in STO.
A Kitty Pryde Doff could be pretty interesting. An engineer who could phase the ship preventing damage?
They have no license for the JJverse
