Really Cryptic?

What happened to the No Bikinis for Players Because We don't Want Them on Other Planets Rule?

You still keep them from us and yet there is this NPC wearing one on NR for example.

Eff it, bikinis for all female characters all the time.

Isn't that the "Please come to Risa" NPC? I'm sure she'll disappear when the event ends.

Cryptic wants a character related to a special event to stand out so players will notice him or her, and they want that character to represent what you can expect in that special event, although not necessarily what you will receive while attending it.

The universe has a wonderful sense of humor. The trick is learning how to take a joke.

First of all, it won't happen for the caitians because Cryptic doesn't want to add bikinis that cover 8 nipples.

Also it will never happen because only 3 skins that i've seen so far are full body and don't just end at the neck, Caitian, Gorn, and Trill. Even the basic human skins end at the neck, you just don't notice because the colors blend. I personally would love to see the custom skins made full body, so that way people wearing the more open clothing options would at least look decent instead of having that "not even half assed" art asset look to them.

So you intentionaly trimmed your tail and lose the ability to balance better than humans? Sounds like a bad trade off to me.

Darwinism my friend. Big cats don't need tails for balance. Only small nimble cats falling from trees needs tails. Big cats only need bushy tails to chase off flies, if they are lacking in cleaning their fur. Big cats need to jump. For that they use legs, not tails. :D

when they give clothes appropriate armour values & add hub invasion events, these outfits may become fun. since it would reduce the players using them to fodder.

Don't you receive constant UV damage to your skin when you wear bikini's? If that were translated to Armor Values would it be a negative value, do you take damage just by wearing the clothing item, how long of wearing the item before your die from Solar Exposure? How many DPS is a bad sunburn?

I think that all clothing items should be unisex, I wanna see some guys in bikini's.

Seconded! And skirts, that would be very early-TNG :). would also be nice to mix some other gender-specific items such as the male TOS mirror universe top to females. They could at very least do this in the foundry but I'd love to be able to mix-and-match generally.

If you realy really really insist on having a "Bikini"

Go to your character selection screen, create an Orion female, power it up to level 11, go to Risa, do the dance contest (be sure to talk to the dance instructor and get the Samab dance emote) Complete a couple dance contests (you'll pick up the Samab advanced dance emote as soon as you complete one dance contets without error.. Pin you emote list (push pin symbol) and stretch a little, center it on the dance emotes) once you have 550 favors, cash 'em in for the cheapest floater) and go do the hunt and dance contest untill you have 600 favors and cash 'em in for the Risan flower accent pack (or pick one up in the exchange for 3 mil or so) and use the flower accessoy belt to preplace your regular orion belt and loincloth.. you now have the lower half of your Bikini.. color as you desire with the limited KDF palette and go enjoy your smexy new look.

Sorry Only Orion female characters can do this.. sorry, I had nothing to do with it.. though they do look might fine, mighty fine.

*rubs it in a little in classic KDF style, and with a small satisfied feeling of justified payback for all the goodies fed faction has*

Must be some Starfleet regulation.. Not MY fault you live in a totalitarion restrictive society that requres homogenity out of you starfleet personall.. You COULD have rolled KDF in the first place!

I've seen some people doing that, nice work around. I do find it a bit weird that the first full bikini in the game comes to the Klingons!

Not true, big cats use a tail as a rudder when running after prey same as small housecats do when chasing a mouse. and when jumping the tail helps balance the cat in mid air as well as helps when targeting the jump. The tail is also used to protect the sensitive bits back there when they grab hold of prey a hoof to the tail is better than a hoof to the sensitive bits.

If they evolved to not using the tail then the tail would have disapeared and any big cat with a tail would be a mutation. Bobcat's have a stub for a tail because they evolved to not use one like a lion or cheetah does use them.

    Saurian Females in Bikinis.

    Perfect!
Y'know, I have to ask... what is with the (obviously reptilian) Saurian females having TRIBBLE anyway?

I mean, aren't mammary glands pretty much restricted to, well, mammals?

Roddenberry put ladies in mini skirts, and it has never changed. Non Males to this day run around Star Trek swishing their hips and jiggling their TRIBBLE, to be fair shouldn't the guys be hanging around with their hands groping down their pants and flexing their muscles whenever a non male struts by?. It is disturbing that the lesser half of our species is still treated like second class citizens even in the future. Perhaps the Kzinti had it right with keeping them as breed-stock and leaving society to the Men. (I am not the one who created the 'War of the Sexes' - I just note that it still exists.)

That's a very strange question to ask in response, considering that female chesticles are a uniquely human phenomenon shared by precisely zero other species on Earth.

That "bikini" is not a bikini... It is our DRESS UNIFORM dammit!

And we Orions are getting pretty ticked over the blatant disrespect the UFP is demonstrating towards our uniform and our culture, stealing what is part of our cultural identity, and recycling it for cheap thrills on a party planet as if it meant NOTHING!!!

The UFP is supposed to be better than this! The UFP is big on telling people how they respect their cultures and traditions, but then turn around and make a mockery of other cultures when it suits them!

Get your leaders to cease and desist abusing our uniform like that, and make their own swimwear without ripping our culture off!

We Orions are a very proud people, and we won't take this insult lightly!

I suppose, as a member of the Saurian race, I should explain that the "TRIBBLE" on Saurian females serve a very useful function. Just remember this the next time you're drinking "Saurian Brandy".

"Brandy" being the Saurian's name, and not the type of drink. :D
