Graying out Weapons...

Okay, I am not sure if this is just my hardware I use to play the game or if this is a rare glitch. I will sometimes in a mission (whether it is Autofire, Hotkeys, Space Bar mash, click, etc) have my weapons suddenly gray out like they are about to start cooldown and than stick that way. ONly way I have seen to work around it is to un-equip the weapon and than re-equip. At this point, my target stops taking damage from said weapon.

Now as to why I think it is my hardware...I play this game on a Toshiba NN550. I am partial to thinking this is the reason but want to know if I am the only one who has seen this happen?

EDIT: Research indicates I am not the only one to see this bug pop up as well. I will send a bug report next time it happens.

    Bug report sent in about it as I had it happen again...this time on my Fed and saw 4 out of my 6 Phaser Beam Arrays just lock up as well as Eject Warp Plasma 3. Seriously, can someone tell me what is going on here?
