Purchase ZEN and Steam

I don't know how many of you folks purchase ZEN via Steam, but when I recently took up the offer of the ZEN offer (specifically the 3000+450 ZEN for ?25) the game crashed while it was waiting for verification from steam... Steam says it has been transferred to star trek online but the ZEN never got credited to my account.

I have submitted the problem to the support center on the 15th June and I am still waiting. :mad:

Can someone in the support team take a look at this please, as I am getting rather annoyed with the lack of support. :mad:

    Gad I just got this game moved over to steam just to try and buy Zen since every other way has failed.

    I reckon I will not even try to buy any till these issue are fixed.

    I`ve been trying to get Zen for The last few days! i tried Skrill and paypal and nothing but failure and there is nothing wrong with My credit Card! what`s The deal? is everyone`s systems all crashing or something?:mad:

    Something's gone wonky. I've also been trying to purchase through Steam (done many times successfully), but no go for the last couple of days.

    At least with me, the transaction is failing completely, so my money is still with Steam. Hope it works out alright for you OP.

    Zero problems with Steam, here. Added $100 to my Steam Wallet, used $50 of it in-game to buy Zen. No muss, no fuss.

    Well, I wonder what the hell then? I just tried it again and I get "waiting for Steam to respond to your previous request". Which is what I've been getting for 3 days now. After a very lengthy delay, it finally comes back with "you canceled your purchase". Just to be 100% sure, this last time I touched nothing while it was "processing".

    As I mentioned, I've purchase Zen via Steam several times before with no issue. Don't know why it's being a pain this time.

    You might want to check your CC company. They might have added Steam to their DNC list. It might be something you need to have them manually remove for your CC account.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    Thing is though, sending money to Steam isn't an issue. Getting it to Cryptic/PWE is the problem. I have funds in my Steam wallet, I just can't get STO to play fetch.

    Even there, it seems like you should be asking Steam what the issue is. If it's working for other people but not you then the problem is either on your CC end or on your Steam end. If it's just you then you need to find out why it's just you.

    Yeah, it could be something on Steam's end. Seems like there's a lot of Zen related issues at the moment, however.

    I'm in no hurry. There's not even something I'm trying to get. Just my regular "I support STO" Zen purchase. I think I'll just wait a bit and see what, if anything happens.

    Well, as it turned out, my issue was Steam related. Apparently STO and Steam can't communicate with each other if Steam Community In-Game is disabled. Which I disabled because it's annoying. Switched it back on for the purchase and it went through fine.

    how do you purchase extra character slots? i have the seen but it says this character can not gain more slots??
