Cool ideas for rep expansion

So, I was thinking about how the Season 7 and 8 Rep system expansions and thought that they could do some cool stuff with it. my ideas include:

1. Adding T6 rep at 150,000 rep xp which would include SHIP REQUISITIONS - 2500 marks and several other commodities would get you an Assimilated Ship (omega), A Tal Shiar or Romulan ship (rom), or a tholian or mirror ship (nukara). I know most of the rom/tholian ships already exist, but I'll leave it up to cryptic for the workaround.

2. Cardassian Reputation - New Jem'Hadar and Cardassian sets and requisitions like spiral wave disruptors.

3. More Nukara and Romulan STFs (I'd like some elite STFs too)

4. expansion of event reputation to include different levels and rewards. (may be expanded for summer event)

If you have any good Ideas, feel free to post any good ideas about reputation expansions.

why let players earn for free what they can toss in lockboxes?

I fear your absolutely correct.. Although you use Dil in the rep system, most of that can be earned in two days and is barely worth one penny..
Selling ships in a store would garner them between 20.00 to 55.00 dollars per unit sold..
Putting them in lockboxes?? They can earn between 100.00 to 400.00 dollars per unit.. Some have spent much more than that to get the adapted destroyer.. since they can count on a 4X return from lockboxes over Zen store I suspect that rather than making it easier for players to aquire the ships/costumes/pets/consoles/etc. they will move everything more towards lockboxes where they know people will spend more to aquire the same product someone else got for almost free..

I doubt we will get ships within the Rep system. Ships are a high value commodity, both in player demand and in resources needed to make them.

The way Cryptic is going they will just stack on more reputations as they go. More weapons, more passives, more things to do.

Although I wouldn't mind there being epic STF style missions, one or two per reputation with alot of marks and an big epic finale battle with the factions.

The way the passives for the rep systems are turning out, and always adding in more, its starting to sound like something similar to the incarnate system CoH had before being closed down.

1. As others have said, I can not forsee ships being acquired through the rep systems.

2. I agree with a Cardassian rep but, I would not include Jem'hadar with it. I would rather Jem'hadar items gained through a Dominion rep.

3. Yes to more STFs of different focuses.

4. I have not done any of the Event rep so I have no input here.

Section 31 and Klingon Intelligence or whatever the Klingon version of the Section 31 counterpart reputation. There would also be the opposite version reputation. Not sure what it would be called. So you can either start the Section 31 rep or its opposite version rep, but you can't do both. Either have something that requires a reset token to do the other one or gaining 1 rep in Section 31 would require 2 or more rep in the other to erase the Section 31 rep. The opposite version reputation would be what honorable captains belong to and believe the ends never justify the means. The two reps might have missions where they go against each other.

My other idea is introducing regular rep to Starfleet and KDF organizations like Starfleet Corp of Engineers, Starfleet Medical, Daystrom Institute, and Department of Temporal Investigations.

IDk, sense the launch of LOR, there really hasent been that much for Romualns.
What i would really love to see a Romulan Reputation, Cardassian still would be nice too!
I no theres the new romulas rep, but it dont offer really anything for our romulan faction.
It would be great to have a Rom rep system, that offers gear and or sets like the maco and omega sets.
Like have some green gear, with like a raptor look to it.

Just lose the projects to advance rep and make it a level system. earn reputation when you play rather than from projects and have it limited in how much rep you can earn in a day. Then allow the marks earned to be used for purchasing the goodies but earn less per STF to get the same timeframe. Basicly make the system simpler to do rather than the complicated system we have now.

To expand upon what you can get what about special DOFF's and BOFF's that require you to do something plus marks to get and you can only have 1 of each?
