Another lie from cryptic!
Ambient audio should remain active if the player is within range of the sound and their camera isn't.
i just did a foundry mission with this problem and is not fixed. the mission is
One too many and the problem is in the part when you try to save the blonde doctor in holodeck.
this is another "fixed" bug from cryptic like the emo romulans that shoot themself with plasma torp...
