So,according to you if a relabel an oil tanker and call it a speedboat,it should turn just as well?
If you can't handle the lady, don't date her and leave her to more capable hands.
This is more like an oil tanker with a rudder that's too small. Nobody's expecting it to turn like a speedboat because it's obviously an oil tanker, it's the fact that it doesn't even turn as well as other oil tankers that's the issue.
To use another idiotic analogy about "ladies" since that seems to be the trend, it would be like asking a plus sized woman with one crippled leg to go jogging with you and wondering why she can't keep up. Sure, you could spend the money to get her surgery to fix her leg and accept that even then she still wouldn't be quite as fast as everyone else, but it'd be a lot easier to just find a different jogging partner.
Unless of course everyone else that was available for you to ask demanded expensive jewelry that would cost you 3 days pay, which is pretty much the situation at level 30 for Romulans. You, as a Romulan, are left with either the plus sized woman with a crippled leg, a trio of gold diggers, or your previous jogging partner who isn't as fast as the gold diggers (who incidentally don't charge your friends anything to jog with them) but is still faster than the plus sized woman with the crippled leg even though she's much older.

What kind of sick twisted mind would demand this lovely lady to go for a jog, while it is perfectly clear she has a disability and can't.Accept her or don't,but don't force your ideas of right and wrong on her!

Of course the D'dex turns like a Vo'quv, it's about the same size. The thing should NOT turn like a Galaxy class.... it's much larger.
Yes and of course this same logic applies to the adapted battle cruiser, which is a D'd with TRIBBLE piled onto it. More mass somehow makes it go from 5.5 to 7?
You could also look at say, the Heavy Cruiser, which has a turn of 8. Its smaller than the patrol escort, the breen ship, most of the romulan escorts, the MVAE, KDF cruisers, and yes it has a lower turn than all of them.

You're logic in this regard has failed.
I'd say the reason for the increased maneuverability of the adapted version is because it uses an Borg-based propulsion system.
The maneuverability between ships of different classes is not based on their size.
When the Nebula was orginally announced, it was supposed to be a cruiser with a turnrate of 6.
In the end she was made into a science ship with a turnrate of 9.
Why? Because science ships turn better than cruisers.
And she didn't magically shrink with this class change either.
It's just because of her class.
Same is true for the Advanced Escort vs the Excelsior: one is an escort while the other is a cruiser.
i've been defending the D'D all around because i LOVE the ship.
it is VERY WELL flyable in PVE, even with DHC build, the cloak helps a lot and the TR can be adjusted with various consoles + the helmsman trait+skillpoints.
I even managed to fly it in PVP with mixed results, albeit not completely bad.
The 2 consoles power just rocks, the ship IS tanky, and it can punch a hole into everything stupid enough to stay IN FRONT of you for more than 5 seconds.
but to be frank, my tac toon is now flying a Fleet Dhelan and feels a lot more comfortable.

The heavy cruiser is NOT smaller than the patrol escort.... a Cheyenne for example is about 30% larger than a Hermes or K'tinga.
That being said, the D'd. is exactly where its supposed to be, slightly less maneuverable than its fed counterpart, the Exploration Cruiser, with slightly more hull strength.
Just because a ship can mount Dual Heavy Cannons does not mean it should have 3 or 4 across the front, maybe just 1 or 2 for added kick. I am considering buying the D'D but I have never liked a slow turning ship. I could almost fly the Nebula, but always felt better in something more nimble. I do understand both sides of this debate.
One solution might be to give it a wing of fighters, if it is as big as a carrier...
The problem with adding fighters is it has 8 weapons and 2 LtCom BO's (3 total LtCom abilities)
The problem with saying it should be slow and 'get used to it' is the Lockbox ship has more turning, a clear indication that better turn rate is desirable.
I am a science officer and looking for a way to make this ship fun so I can buy one of my favorite ships and actually enjoy it.
Bottom line: Many people who never liked slow cruisers love this ship from the series and want to fly it, but still do not like cruisers. (I guess get a holoemitter for your Mogai???)

Indeed, on a big ship like that you're going to want 360 deg of mostly balanced fire. Banks and arrays are your friends, maybe one dual cannon i n thefront at most.
