BUG - FPS Drop with Plasma Torps

I have noticed when using Plasma Torpedoes with Spread 3 it causes massive FPS drops. Could this be a possible memory leak as this occurred on the mission Mind Games when fighting Hakeevs ship I can normally go into a 20 man fleet defense mission and not has any drop in FPS during full combat so this really caught me by surprise hope this helps.
