Hey Cryptic and STO forum users. I'm stepping in for a friend here with a question. Recently she made level 50 with her new Romulan character. (Science officer)
She wants to put her RomSci in a C-store ship, the Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit, but was told by the C-store that her character cannot use that ship. Is there a limit on what ships Roms/Rems have access to, or is it just a temp error being patched at the moment? We're not complaining, we're just curious. She loves the new content (I haven't taken the time to actually start a new toon as of yet). And we both say, keep up the good work Cryptic/PWE!!
Romulan Captains can use any Lock Box or Lobi store ships that can be used by both the Federation and the Klingon Defense Force, such as the Jem?Hadar Dreadnought Carrier and Tholian Orb Weaver, for example. In addition, they can use any Romulan-specific ships that we add to Lock Boxes or the Lobi Store at a later time.
They cannot use Mirror Universe versions of Rear Admiral, Vice Admiral, Brigadier General, or Lieutenant General tier ships from the faction that they have allied with. Similarly, they cannot use faction-specific Temporal Ships, such as the Mobius; however, they are capable of using their ally?s Temporal Shuttles, however.
Allied Ships (Updated!)
When a Romulan Captain chooses to ally with the Federation or the Klingon Defense Force, they gain access to a limited number of their ally?s ships. Romulan Captains can obtain Tier 1 through Tier 4 allied ships for Dilithium or in the C-Store, depending on the specific ship. Romulan Captains cannot command, nor purchase/ claim, Tier 5 (Rear Admiral, Vice Admiral, Brigadier General, or Lieutenant General) ships from the faction that they have allied with.

On a different note, I got crashed out of game 3 times last night. I'm fine with this usually. But now I can't log in.
I am getting an account ticket timeout error. I went to the support page and used the search to find out what to do to get rid of the error. It says to view the ticket and either edit it or finalize it. Problem is, when I click on any of the support options for ticket, I keep getting told the url has a redirect loop.
Any help to getting back in game would be appreciated. I cleared my cookies, and history in case there was a conflict. Cookies are on (until I close the browser). So I'm not sure what's going on. I'm using Google Chrome.. but I still have IE on my comp as back up.. haven't tried that yet.
I'm able to get back in to the game now.. someone was paying attention!!!! Thanks Cryptic/PWE and the forum members who took the time to read my issues and help!

For now, she's best served by flying an Ha'nom until Cryptic releases a Romulan T5 science vessel. Or, she could play one of the Rom T5s now, she just wouldn't have that Commander slot or targeting abilities built-in.
