"Back to the Past" Devidian Episode Bug

OK, here's a new one...it's in the "Everything Old is New" portion of the storyline.

So I go through the portal back to the 23rd-century Drozana Station to figure out what is happening and to try to stop the "ghosts" from killing folks and frakking up the timeline. This was a really fun episode the first couple of times through with characters I ran early on, and since I had not played it for a long while, was looking forward to it again as I am leveling up my new Rommie.

Well, even though it is cool to see TOR uniforms, hear the sounds and, of course, run into and talk to "Bones," I forgot how REALLY long the episode is, and how tedious the running around for parts, cures, and so on can be.

Nevertheless, I had set aside the limited time I had this morning for some STO fun, and I ground through it all. Looking forward to the rewards (leveling retro phaser arrays with that good 'ol TOR sound!) and to my next level up, I finished the episode, and clicked the button to end it and "Return to [my] own time." BUT, imagine my surprise when I ended up staring at the panel to "Enter the Drozana Maintenance Levels," with the prompt that said "Begin: Back to the Past," "Travel to the 23rd Century!!" Thinking this might be some kind of update to the Romulan version of the storyline, I clicked the button and...WENT RIGHT BACK TO THE BEGINNING OF THE EPISODE I JUST PLAYED!!!

OK, I mentioned it was fun to go through again...ONCE. But did I mention the tedium and LENGTH of the episode?! Now, if I want to finish it and get the rewards, I have to go through it AGAIN! OK, NOT so fun...

This has GOT to be a bug, right...RIGHT? Anyone else have this issue?

Come on, guys - with all the MANY server downtimes and maintenance periods, patches, and updates of late, you'd think that a lot of these bugs would have been sorted out. And this isn't a blue phaser instead of a green one, or a BOff doing their best starship impression on screen - THIS WAS A WASTE OF TIME, something I didn't have much of today!

Seriously, in order to proceed, I indeed have to go back to the past - my own past - and, truthfully: "everything new" is really old!

Yep, i had the same issue yesterday and reported the same thing.

what you have to do is COMPLETELY drop the mission leave it for 5 mins then try again.

worked after 3 attempts for me on my romulan toon, i know it's a pain but you can get to complete the mission with patience

Thanks, mate. Tried it, and it worked. Better than beating my head against the wall, I'll tell you! Now, off to find some ice and some aspirin... ;)

It's not that long. I remember whipping through it in 12 minutes six times in a row to build a retro beam boat.
