Romulan Boff Training, still needs some tweaking

The fix to let us train our bridge officers with captain unlocked trains was much needed and appreciated. We have a lingering issue though in training commissioned Romulan officers.
Currently, to train Romulan officers with non Romulan bridge officer candidates requires you to have a bridge officer of your chosen faction affiliation (Fed or KDF respectively) commissioned as a crew member to allow you to train officers with a candidate officer's abilities.
Additionally the commissioned officer must be of the specific class as the candidate you intend to use as a trainer. (ie; you must have a commissioned KDF Tactical officer crew member to train a Romulan crew member with a KDF/non Romulan candidate)
While this allows for a work around to train your officers it is a bit inconvenient, especially once you have begun to fill your available bridge officer roster slots.
If we could get this resolved it would be greatly appreciated.
