MAJOR BUG: Romulan BOFF Subterfuge Broken.

The +20% damage bonus on the Romulan faction bridge officers is broken and is not being added.

My fleet has confirmed this on 3 users and 4 toons including my own.

We each have multiple subterfuge boffs on our characters but do not gain anything more than the default 25% damage bonus that comes with the Romulan Battle Cloak.

We tested this by being in system space and looking at our damage stats before cloak, then cloaking/uncloaking and taking the stats again and doing the math. Exactly 25% bonus.

We then removed all of our boffs and did the same test. Exactly 25% bonus.

The +20% damage boost for each subterfuge is not being added by any romulan faction boffs. Anyone can test this simply by conducting the same test with any romulan faction boff with subterfuge.

There doesn't appear to be any flat damage bonus from subterfuge. I also doubt they would all stack if they did, that would be a bit ridiculous. See link below.

It is a bonus upon de-cloaking, which the OP did.

But: Real bug or display bug? You would have to actually shoot something and parse the log to be sure.

I know this is a necro, but I do not see any damage bonus either after all this time. The romulan racial does not even work. Just thought I would point it out...again.

Subterfuge/Superior Infiltrator - as you can see in this screenshot, subterfuge gives you just 0.2% damage-bonus after decloaking, not 20%.

Now maybe you UI was a little laggy, so you were unable to see that the bonus applied, use a Superior Infiltrator - Reman to make this visible.

Yeah, 20% will be really OP lol. :D (and romulans are already a little op in terms of damage and crits, so it will be insane xDD). But 0,2% is almost stupid as well. I dont think you will notice any difference..

Wondering why this is being pointed out when patch notes clearly state the following:

The Subterfuge Trait no longer provides a percentage-based increase, but instead provides a large increase to the "Starship Stealth" skill of their captain. +100 / +150 / +200 for ranks 1, 2, and 3, respectively.

All ranks of the Subterfuge Trait have gained a Defense bonus. +1.25% / +2.5% / +3.75% for ranks 1, 2, and 3, respectively.

The Stealth Bonus and Ambush Bonus from having multiple Bridge Officers with Subterfuge does not stack, but the Defense bonus will.

Also the Ambush bonus for Romulans work. So not sure why it was said it wasn't.

Simply look at the date of the initial post, this thread is a zombie...

The first reply today brought it back to life.
