Romulan Bridge Officer Training and trading bugs.

It appears that Romulans can't trade bridge officers with others (not even other romulans) to get them trained. Also the train option is missing from the non commissioned bridge officers thus they cannot be used to train existing commissioned bridge officers. The combination of both of these means that Romulans cannot have there bridge officers trained in certain skills Such as Transfer shield Strength 3 as Klingons and Feds can and must rely on actually obtaining a bridge officer with the skill but may not be ideal as they may have to sacrifice other traits of a current bridge officer they want to keep.

    I cant even get my BoFF's trained at a trainer right now....."unable to learn this skill"

    I bought 3 Romulan/Reman Officers on exchange on my Fed/Fed toon and they are all stuck in the overflow bag, there is no way i can get them out.

    Total bug.
    Pretty sure its related to me not being a Romulan Fed but a normal Fed. A tad weird.

    Yes I am referring to, trading romulan bridge officers and training them with another character.

    It's dumber than that. After the fix to allow KDF boffs like letheans to train KDF aligned ROM boffs... it's random. I log in, double-click on the lethean boff and SOMETIMES I get the option to 'Train Up'.

    Try logging off/on a few times. Don't know why but it eventually works for me.

    In the meantime, you can buy 5-6 boffs off the exchange, all from the same faction and alignment and not all of them can 'train-up', log off/on repeatedly until it works.

    The known trick to use Fed/KDF BOFFs to train Rom BOFFs is to fill up your roster so it is full with Fed/KDF BOFFs. That triggers the Train Up feature.
