I always felt that since these weapons are only available from lockbox's and cost Zen and you have to open 10-20 of them just to get a good set. They should be equal to or very close to the ability/preformance of Fleet Weapons. Some of the Hybrids are nice, some are not. I have full sets of each hybrid type and have tested and flown with each to try to find the best, Below are list of each type. Due to these weps only being availabel from Lockbox's Cryptic should give them a little buff to damage/DPS to make them on par with the other end-game Reputation items or Fleet Equipment.
Feel free to post your opinions of each type.
Plasma-Disruptor - Pre season 5 most powerful in game now wotrhless (available from Night of the comet)
Polarized Tetryon - Meh (could never see any advantage over normal Tetryon.
Spiral Wave Disruptor - Very nice (cryptic needs to release DBB and Turrets and cannons)
Dominion Polaron - Nice if you are leveling or cant afford Fleet weps
Phased Tetryon - Nice due to the phaser proc and in combonation with Torps
Polarized Disruptor - nothing special see not advantage over normal disruptors
Romulan Plasma - Nice although lower damage the DOT is good Phased Polaron
Nanite Disruptor - Only had them for a day but appears to work good as a hull smasher due to a (%) of energy damage bypassing shields and hitting hull directly.
I remember plasma-disruptors. everyone was excited how good they are. I grinded a full set. the next they cryptic nerfed tehm, because they did not work as intended
I plan to get nanite disruptors on my romulan, but that will depend on the price, they seem good on paper.
tho romulan plasma looks good on paper, but in action, it somehow lacks something
Plasma-Disruptors are still good as a free set of Disruptors as you level. I think I was using them for quite a while when I hit 50.
Polarized Tetryon weapons are fine as shield strippers.
Romulan Plasma is best used as supporting Plasma weapons. Escorts should run normal plasma DHCs and Rom Plasma for turrets. The turrets don't do much damage anyway so you don't lose as much DPS, while the disruptor proc will up the damage of your DHCs and torps.
I have opened 100 boxes of the Nanite disruptor weps, Buying them for 250K each off of exchange to get all ACC X3 or ACCx2 (Crth) versions for my Escourts and Beam Cruiser, I have sold everything else back on the exchange and made a nice profit back. An XII Acc x3 Turrett is going for 70-100 mil EC on the Exchange. If anyone needs any of the 20-30 XI versions I have they are sitting in my fleet and account bank. I would be willing to give the away to someone that really wants them and not someone that will just recycle them for EC.
The Polarised Tetryon has a 10% chance instead of a 2.5% chance. If your using Tetryon for shield stripping they'll proc four times as often.
I was once DKnight1000, apparently I had taken my own name so now I'm DKnight0001. If I ask you a question it is not an insult but a genuine attempt to understand why. When I insult you I won't be discreet about it, I will be precise and to the point stupid.

I would like a few of them if you are giving them away. Looking to try something new on my Atrox because it currently is not doing enough damage.
i wish they would just let you buy spiral waves, because getting a galor for most people is not realistic, and to get a full set of them costs like 200k+ dilithium or something. why could they not drop the whole must own a galor to buy theses requirement considering the dil sink they are?
I only like the Romulan Plasma weapons on my Sci/Escort.
However, I can make any weapon into a plasma <insert preferred energy type> with three modifiers at the cost of one science console slot. I prefer this on my Tac/Escort, even if the plasma DOT is nothing to write home about.
Hell, you can stack the plasma DOT if you have multiples of the Embassy science consoles. On my Sci/Escort, the cutting beam has three plasma DOT procs on them. 2x ~207 DOT and 1x ~190 DOT. And, when it procs, all three proc.
Loved the Plasma-Disruptors on my escort. Grinded for a whole set and ran STF's with them before I could upgrade to Antiproton. Anyone using the new Nanite set in STF? Or for that matter the new Piercing Tetryon from the Wasteland series?

because then nobody would spend $ to get the galor :P
Don't know why it says i'm an ARC user. i will never use that TRIBBLE Cryptic!

They're nice. Would have been even better if they had been a little more accurate, but that's another story. I actually have two ships with them: 1 escort with the DHC and 1 cruiser with the beams.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Nice! I'll probably hold off until I see a turret version somewhere(?) to mount aft on my escort.
I would love to take, oh, about five beam arrays off your hands for you if they are collecting dust. Was thinking about using disruptors for the Romulun toon, as I already have a plasma build with my Tac toon, in a cruiser..we'll see. But, I would like to see what the nanite build is like as well and I have just not gotten around to grinding them out as when I can get on, I want to STF and do some fleet actions..
Miranda@en40rcer if you are seriously looking to offload some MK XIs
One note about Romulan Plasma is that it includes the Experimental Beam Array. It's the best Beam Array in the game currently (0 energy drain) so these weapons are the best if you're going for beams.
because then nobody would spend $ to get the galor :P
galor is considered the best cruiser in game so i do not think that being able to buy arrays that will take you how many weeks of farming to buy anyway? would nerf the desire for people to get that ship.
oh well i got 200+ cardie boxes when you could buy them so when i can afford to buy keys again.....
Okay, I've used all of them so I'll post some opinions...
Plasma-Disruptor: Used to be the must-have for cruisers and science ships; not really viable anymore, but still great if you need some weapons to get started, as they are easy to get.
Polarized Tetryon - About the same as normal Tetryon; awesome for shield stripping, but outperformed by Phased Tetryon.
Spiral Wave Disruptor - The BEST beam arrays currently in STO, period.
Dominion Polaron - Like you said, awesome for leveling and cool for visuals. Not so great in end-game, but viable if your running a polaron beam boat.
Phased Tetryon - Probably the most versitile hybrid weapon type; tetryon proc makes them good in PvE, while phaser proc makes them good in PvP. Great to have accross the board!
Polarized Disruptors - Pretty sick in PvP, especially if you've got them on a science ship. Thanks to have both disruptor and polaron procs, you can debuff the heck out of your target with them.
Romulan Plasma - Great in PvE! Has yet to be proven in PvP, however.
Phased Polaron - Probably the best hybrid weapon type for PvP, because it combines the two most potent PvP procs (phaser and polaron); also, has pretty dang sick visuals, especially for beams.
Nanite Disruptor - Like you said, hull smasher. But they have issues; their disruptor proc works at reduced effectiveness compared to normal, giving them a "half-disruptor-proc", which sucks compared to other hybrids which have full or near-full efficiency procs. Regardless of that, they are still potent weapons, especially in teamed gameplay.
Romulan plasma depends on what you fit with it........I use the Romulan Mk XII dual beams and dual Heavy Cannons. two plasma infuser consoles (tac) plus a threat scaling shield emitter console (Sci) along with borg adapted space set, and omega plasma/ cutting etc, the romulan zero point energy conduit console and the ferenghi tachykenetic convertor i get very high critical success.
Last I read in the gameplay bugs forum, it is bugged and drains weapon power.
Last I checked in game it only did so during FAW and after that was supposedly fixed my energy went back to never dropping below 80 with my standard FAW2 + AP:B3 + EPtW1 combo. It's never drained power when normal firing for me.
Anyone tried the piercing tetryon weapons yet? And are there dual beam versions of the phased polarons?

There is no turret version. Both the beams and DFC are mission rewards and turrets are not included.
I used regular disruptor turrets.

Experimental Romulan Plasma Beam had it's tooltip fixed to indicate it no longer uses weapon power during a FAW. However my testing shows it IS still using weapon power during a FAW. Normal firing my weapon power drops to 82. During a FAW it drops to 77. Swapping the Experimental out for another beam was 77 and 77 respectively.
right now i run all hybrid disruptor and with the embassy plasma console that adds plasma dot to all my weapons. and all are mk xii and have acc and dmg mods, and i stack porc off the chain. My Valdore retrofit is like a fire breathing dragon.

Polaron proc on space weapons is useless in PvE due to NPC's immunity to power drains (but not disabling), but the ground weapons are excellent due to the polaron's Weapon Malfunction proc.
I am of the opine that giving up a Modifier (with the exception of dmg) is rarely worth the tradeoff of for a proc, particularly in the case of ground weapons.

If you've got any left you can toss a set at @wolfblood so my new Rommy will have something to play with as it levels up.
To all the pepole asking about my back stock of Nanite Disruptors keep in mind they are all XI, I kept or sold all the XII's I will hit a few of you up tonight when im in Game. I have lots of dual cannons and single cannons also.
