banned for complaining about spam emails in my private fleet channel

I keep getting in-game messages from a specific seller of ec in my private fleet channel and said "I wonder if XXXX website actually gives u anything or if it just steals your credit card information" and nothing showed up so I thought it was lag and said it again. next thing I know literally 1 second after hitting enter I got a message telling me my account is banned. I just started paying monthly again 2 weeks ago after almost a year of playing for free. I understand this might be some new protocol to keep those idiots out of the game but if you guys could do something like check the context of what I wrote and unban me id be appreciative and continue paying.

    That is strange. How is this person even accessing your private channel (I admit, limited knowledge of such things)? I'd say file a report and... well wait for a while because they are flooded right now.

    There was a guy in my fleet who sent me a spam ingame mail about that ec-selling "company". I reprimanded and demoted him immediately. Few days later he left the fleet, but apparently he copied @accountnames of some members. Now he's creating sock puppet accounts and sends spam mail to selected people. Of course those accounts are one-use only, because they are added to ignore lists immediately. This however does not stop him from creating another account the next day and spamming again. I think he did it with way more than just one fleet.

    As for your case, is that account ban (you cannot log in and play) or just chat mute (you cannot post anything through chat system)?

    And I'm banned too, because I typed the name of ec-selling company into fleet chat. I can't even contact Cryptic or PWE support from my account.
