Yesterday I filed a ticket because one of my characters will not load into the game, when I log in and select that character I only get a Server Not Responding message after loading reaches about 94%
Today I received a request back from a GM for more information which I provided with a screen shot, following that I received this email back:
Hello again,
Keep in mind to continue to submit tickets regarding the same issue or responding after we have resolved with our recommendation, is against the TOS and the account can be penalized as such.
Your name has been flagged as a TOS violation.
We are going to close this ticket now any further replies to this ticket will not receive a response and the ticket will be set to close.
I hope you continue your STO experience and have a great week!
SO.
Aside from the fact that I've been using the names they say are a TOS violation since 1997, and more recently, beta for this game, without an issue. This has nothing to do with my ticket beyond closing it and threatening me with a TOS violation.
I assure you I returned the resulting customer service Survey with my thoughts.
I haven't been able to log into this character since Tuesday.
They aren't working on TRIBBLE! Cryptic sucks as a company. The amount of new players exceeds the players that can not log on so they are just calling it a clean sweep. Amazing how they can patch a COSTUME, yes a costume bug, but not do anything with the fact people can not play. They find time to fix all these little bugs for people that are in the game, but no urgency to get people that have yet to log on to play.
I tried the fixes they mentioned earlier and none would allow me access to my prized toon. The original e-mail they sent to me stated that the firewall should not block the address in the heading.
I turned of Windows firewall (the only one I have) and then tried to tracert the assigned address. I made it out of my router, through my ISP, onto another network that I did not recognize, then the transmission to their router was interrupted.....I end up at 38.111.40.114, which does not forward the messages. It is the 13th hop in the route. It tried to keep going until all the hops are exhausted at 30. This is why the timeout happens. I do not believe the request for a map is reaching the map server, if in fact its IP is as stated above. This is the evidence I have so far anyway. I have added this info to my ticket on this issue.
Same here, followed the instructions, even reinstalled the game, no luck so far
OK, if I have to stay here for a while, your cieling ... looks idious.:D
I've been having the exact same issue since the update and the response to my ticket was:
Hello
Thank you for contacting us.
If you find that you have become stuck in a public zone, such as Earth Spacedock, please try changing instances. Doing this should return you to the nearest spawn point with no associated penalty.
Should you become stuck inside of mission you can try the ?Abort Mission? button located at the top left of the minimap which should allow you to leave immediately. Please note that this option will cancel any progress made in that mission, however, you should see the option to continue the mission once you have returned to sector space.
Additionally, a quick log out and back in has also been known to resolve certain stuck issues and return you to your current instance or mission.
If you are stuck in any space map, using ?Transwarp? should return you to Earth Spacedock or Qo?noS depending on your faction.
In the event that these options still do not resolve your issue please update this ticket with as many details as possible and we will attempt to contact you.
Thank you for playing! <your name here>

Not only did this reply not even remotely correlate to an infinite loading screen problem, they didn't even bother to replace <your name here> with their actual name. The grammar and spelling is atrocious for a copy/paste reply as well. After playing since beta and having spent hundreds of hard earned dollars on this game, I do not feel like a valued customer. This has to be the most pathetic level of customer support I have ever had the misfortune to witness. I haven't heard back from anyone since replying, which was quite some time ago.

I am having trouble logging into STO ever since installing the expansion. The loading screen would rack up to 94.14%, and the "server not responding" message appears. It has been like this for three days. Anyone has a solution?
As far as I know, Cryptic hasn't suggested that anyone delete their characters. In fact, if you've got items you want to keep, I'd strongly suggest you NOT do so.
I have been ranting and raving for the last three days about this. I have had it. I am going away for a few days and when I get back on Sunday, this issue better be fixed. I have spent alot of money on my character just like everyone else. My biggest concern is that when everything is fixed, That my character, bridge officers, ship, and everything else I have is still the same. I have never seen a company like cryptic drop the ball like this. No regard for their customers. I can only imagine how many people will leave the game after this epic fail. It is nice to know that I am not alone in this hell.
I think this problem can be considered fraud. People are paying for a service and Cryptic is not delivering. I smell a class action suit (lol)...
Fleet Admiral of the U.S.S. ATTILA KHAN-CDA (NX-921911).
I think they broke something with certain characters... since I only get this one on the Romulan I want to play, and can use new characters and other previously existing ones with no issue.
Same thing here, I can log into other characters perfectly fine its just my romulan character that has that problem.
Well i can log in on my chars but once i want to warp out of zone i get "server not responding"
I made new Klingon character and once i finished tutorial and needed to warp for first time, again, "server not responding"
Wow thats rough, was thinking of making a new char to play around with for a bit, i expect the issue will be resolved in the maintenance come morning. Just felt i should bump this as much as i can, because it makes me feel better.
this glitch was found and reported during the beta yet LOR went live with this game killer.
Got in just after the servers went up patch day lost my main 5 mins later (then oh god the wait after relogging for the insane queues)
its annoying as for main chars the current near 3 day loss is quite a setback from keeping up with fleeties as well as not having access to your ec/dili (only a few mill ec and 500k refined 400k unrefined).
and the fact the so called support are now threatening people even though the lazy pos's are sending out canned responses saying to send in another ticket if the canned spam doesn't work is beyond a joke.

Cant we just have an option to log in to Earth Space Dock, rather then loading into where ever it is that we are stuck?
Again, can we please have an update on this issue?
The last maintenance didn't fix this, I'm hoping this one will... I feel freaking demoralized at this point.
