It's a matter of poor server stability, not our internet connections.
It keeps getting worse by the minute. I have to wait 1-3 minutes for a map to load, for an item to equip or for a mission to turn in. It's basically unplayable and I honestly wonder why didn't they turn off the servers for emergency maintenance yet.
Server not responding now going 250 seconds + ! WTF! This is what i bought the legacy pack for, as an old timer life time sub from day 1 of STO. This is fcking pathetic!
Seriously considering contacting paypal to force withdraw the payment for the legacy pack, or simply going to my bank to have then force withdraw the payment. This is just not acceptable service.
Turn of the servers and focus on the latency issue.

Cryptic was at work since 6am, their time, yesterday, until after midnight. It's 3am at the time of your post, and now 5am at the time of mine.
Let the guys get some rest before they start staring at code and servers again, or any more fixes they do will end up being worse.
ariakisto, fella, you really need to be careful when posting. Look at the date of the previous post. It's more than 30 days old (a lot more).
It's pretty bad form to dredge up old dead threads such as this. This is known as "necroposting" and is frowned upon. If you have something to add, then make a new thread lest you bring down the wrath of the mods upon yourself!
I rarely get to play any more, and every time I do, I cannot even finish a mission before lag hits like a brick wall. I am getting really fed up, what can I do? it is taking me three sessions over a few days to get through one story mission. it is ridiculous. weve even changed isp hoping it would help. big fat no. any suggestions? anything would be helpful at this point!!

My first suggestion is creating a new thread, instead of re-necroing an already necroed thread .
Oh, and it might be wise to add a bit more (tech) information in your new thread (like which ISP you're on, how old your computer is, etc...)
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
Since somebody already necro'd this thread, I'd like to post about my lag/ disconnect issues I've had since yesterdays patch. First off, I'm the guy who rolls his eyeballs when hearing someone complain about lag. It never happens to me (as a gold member). Since yesterdays patch, everytime I switch maps, the red "Server not Responding" text appears and the game crashes after 1 minute. Also, when I join an STF, I get booted during the map change almost every time. If I do manage to get into an STF, I suffer from massive rubberbanding/ disconnects. I haven't had any issues since LoR back in May, so I think it may have had to do with yesterdays patch. Help!

Okay glad I am not the only one then. Today has simply been horrible. Oddly enough after yesterdays patch YESTerday it was fine. Today nothing is happening. ground missions are a bust, and even in space i find myself back to where i started or suddenly heading in a whole other direction. It's not my specs, if it were I wouldn't post in here.

First, my apologies for my slow response to dealing with this necroposted thread. Stoutes gave the call... I just didn't get around to responding.
Second, if you KNOW it's a necro thread, just don't post in it. This is spamming, guys. You don't post in it "just because it's open" or because "so-and-so already posted here". Do we really need to start issuing warnings to everybody who posts something IBL?
The first person who posts, "hey this is a necro!" gets a free pass because they're performing a community service. Everybody else contributing to the post count is necroposting.

1. I chick on an itme in my ship and it delays for seconds until it appears in my imvatory.
2. in large fights ships that are all ready destroyed are still showing red marks on the mini map.
3. When I assign duty officers to take a mission , the mission still appears to be their to take it again.
4. When I try to buy an item on the exchange I caint because the exchange has not updated.
As much as we are spending server lag has got to be fixed....
all drivers are updated, etc all other games, wow gw2 ff etc run perfectly fine
