Error: Player Booting Failed

I can't get to the character select screen, just comes up with "Error: Player Booting Failed"

    I keep getting this Error every time i try to load. Unable to find default animation for sequencer STO_Holstered_Weapon. you must add the
    flag "DefaultSequence" to one (and only one) Sequence!

    i keep getting to the "Retrieving Character List" and minute or two goes by and "Login failed for unknown reason"

    wish someone would say whats up on this. but it has to be a minor minor issue......just joking i have a feeling there is a server side issue with this and hopefully ghet word from a dev or someone.

    Have you enabled any mods?
    I did. Disabled them to solve this...

    got the same error myself today (player booting failed)

    i was ingame trying to move some stuff to my bank/acc bank and they were both not responding, it took about 10 min to move one item so i went to do something else, tried changing toons and got stuck on this error :(

    EDIT:

    nvm i got back in the moment i posted this...
    don't know why i waited 30 mins to post if i did it the moment it happened i'd be back in the game already XD

    same problem hire, moving things in bank wasen't working then got kick out, now i can't get in

    Same problem here. Just wanted to switch chars... :mad:

    EDIT: It works now, but the Queue is back...

    i say we go back in time and grab Major Kira and form a new resistance, but that is just me ... lol :D

    I've been getting a combination of "Error: Player booting failed" and "Login failed for unknown reason".

    ...Sounds like some emergency maintenance will be happening today. Sorry for ruining your Saturday off...not exactly a perfect world...

    I'm in position 615 of 6408 and heve been waiting 25 minutes to play a stupid game.

    I wouldn't exactly call that working.

    Get your act together, PWE. Invest in some hardware. All you're doing with the under-powered server is turning people against your brand name. TRIBBLE up STO, and what will you have left?

    Nothing. That's what.

    Looks like they are cutting back the player slots. My queue position stays at 1795 and the total queue grows from 2000 onto 9200 at the moment.

    I'm now getting a "Server is unavilable at this time". Server indicator is red....so I guess the best thing to do is replicate some coffee, purge my exhaust manifolds, conduct a level one diagnostic on the plasma intermix coolant system, and check back in an hour.

    the Pegasus has a better crash landing, (half way into an asteroid) :D lol
