Photonic Science Bridge Offficer not fixed?

I've read the release notes for the LoR expansion patch three times, and I cannot find any mention of fixing the bug which keeps your photonic science boff from appearing on your bridge. Am I simply overlooking it? With the crazy-high amount of fixes and changes in this expansion, wouldn't it have been a perfect time to introduce a fix to this small issue? New ships are being introduced, so that means they have to have at least one person working on bridges anyway, right?

    As if in answer to my query, I now only have 4 unique boffs on my bridge. So where I used to have 11 unique boffs and 1 generic in place of the photonic sci, I now have a Breen, a Reman, 2 borg, and 8 generic officers.
    On a positive note, however, I get to continue saving the money I had put aside for the LTS.
