I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting this thread, but I was wondering if someone could help me regardless.
When I attempt to take a screenshot with /screenshot or /screenshot_jpg and set the /renderscale to 2 or above, I end up getting a black image/screenshot. I know I could use Fraps, MSI Afterburner or Steam to capture a screenshot. But that would go against what I want to accomplish since I play at a low resolution (1440x900) and want to output a higher resolution image.
If any specific details are needed about hardware or other, I'll gladly give it.
I'm having this problem too, though I don't know anything about the 'renderscale' setting. I've only tweaked settings via the standard in-game video options. Have a 1080p screen here running @ 1920x1080. I'm using 'windowed maximized' mode. (nVidia GeForce GTX 570 video card with the 314.22 drivers. I'm using the DX11 mode setting.)
EDIT: I tried switching to DX9, and it saves screenshots properly. Seems to be a DX11 issue here.
EDIT 2: Found a way to get screenshots working with DX11. Post-processing was turned off. (Don't recall turning it off, but it was.) Turning post-processing back on fixed the black screenshot issue.

Apologies for the late reply. I did have Post-processing enabled while running DX11 and tried resetting the graphics to default as well as even disabling post-processing, but have had no luck. DX9 saves screenshots properly for me too. So it seems like it could be a DX11 issue - which would be a shame considering it looks a lot more gorgeous (or so I think) in DX11 with advanced lighting etc.
This is known to be a DX11 issue when using anything above /renderscale 1 and having the post-processing setting set to "on". Switching to DX9 is a workaround, as others have posted in the thread. I don't have an ETA for a resolution, but I do know the graphics team is aware.

Thank you for confirming that Brandon, I am one of those who experience this issue as well. Until the OP asked, I thought it was the fault of my screenshot software and was thinking of reinstalling it.
