Hello, I was curious about what unlocks apply to Romulans that we've gotten through C-Store or lifetime subs.
Will there be a Liberated Romulan Borg species?
Will Romulans get access to the liberated Borg bridge officer that's currently on the C-Store, or will they only have access to the Liberated Reman bridge officer, which is a separate purchase?
Regarding ships, even utilizing the C-Store, am I to understand Romulans can't use any Klingon/Fed ships at the highest tier? and they also won't get the faction's uniforms?
I really wanted to play a Federation Romulan, but kinda sad that I can't use a fed uniform or the ship I really want to use (intrepid refit)
If you choose to align yourself to FED as Romulan, you'll get access to all perks FED offers. And vice versa, align yourself to KDF grants you those perks. You will be able to play that factions ships and use c-store for the same.

This is only partially correct...
Allied Ships (Updated!)
When a Romulan Captain chooses to ally with the Federation or the Klingon Defense Force, they gain access to a limited number of their ally?s ships. Romulan Captains can obtain Tier 1 through Tier 4 allied ships for Dilithium or in the C-Store, depending on the specific ship. Romulan Captains cannot command, nor purchase/ claim, Tier 5 (Rear Admiral, Vice Admiral, Brigadier General, or Lieutenant General) ships from the faction that they have allied with.
Thanks, that clears up the ships. But what about the liberated borg bridge officer (the non-reman one) and making a liberated borg Romulan? Are those possible?

Yes, Lifetime players will be able to roll a Romulan Borg captain.

Cryptic hasn't been terribly clear on this, but I'd say they will only have access to the Reman officer. The reason being, only Fed has access to the Fed Boff, and only KDF has access to the KDF Boff.

Correct, you won't be able to use Fed uniforms or Tier 5 ships. Plus, you will only have access to a "limited" selection of their Tier 1 - 4 ships (we don't have a list yet).

Retailer Exclusive Pre-order Bonuses
There were a variety of retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses that were available at launch that will still be available to players of the Romulan Republic faction*. All of these can be collected from the ?Legacy? tab of the C-Store if you've previously had access to them before. *These items are not automatically available to Gold/ Lifetime/ or Veteran Subscribers and can only be claimed if you've previously redeemed a pre-order code from a boxed version of the game when it launched in 2010.
Available After Selecting an Ally
Federation or Klingon Liberated Borg Bridge Officer
Ah! I missed that "after selecting an ally" bit. Though it's interesting that Romulan/Reman characters will have both a Reman Borg and a Fed/KDF borg available for their crew.
... okay, if I ever get a Lifetime sub, I'll have to do a Romulan Borg captain. With a Reman Borg, Fed/KDF Borg, and the mission-reward Science Borg, I can almost have an all-Borg away team. I guess I could throw in the Android Boff as the fifth, and snag the two Photonic Boffs for an all-mechanical crew.
