Mmmm Carrot Cake, my absolute favourite. Go check it out!

    Ingredients:

    4 eggs

    1 1/4 cups vegetable oil

    2 cups white sugar

    2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    2 cups all-purpose flour

    2 teaspoons baking soda

    2 teaspoons baking powder

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

    3 cups grated carrots

    1 cup chopped pecans

    1/2 cup butter, softened

    8 ounces cream cheese, softened

    4 cups confectioners' sugar

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1 cup chopped pecans

    Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, beat together eggs, oil, white sugar and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in carrots. Fold in pecans. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.

To Make Frosting: In a medium bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stir in chopped pecans. Frost the cooled cake.

funny thing, a few days ago they posted that STO has its own dedicated server. HA HA HA that is such bull****.

It's possible that they do, but that doesn't hold for the accountability of it being smaller than my calculator. :D

    Pizza on the Grill

How to Peel, Seed, and Dice Tomatoes
Original recipe makes 16 servingsChange Servings
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
    1 cup warm water
    1 pinch white sugar
    2 teaspoons kosher salt
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1 teaspoon minced garlic
    1/4 cup tomato sauce
    1 cup chopped tomatoes
    1/4 cup sliced black olives
    1/4 cup roasted red peppers
    2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    4 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Check All Add to Shopping List
    Directions

In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water, and mix in sugar. Proof for ten minutes, or until frothy. Mix in the salt, olive oil, and flour until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth, about 8 minutes. Place dough in a well oiled bowl, and cover with a damp cloth. Set aside to rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch down, and knead in garlic and basil. Set aside to rise for 1 more hour, or until doubled again.
Preheat grill for high heat. Heat olive oil with garlic for 30 seconds in the microwave. Set aside. Punch down dough, and divide in half. Form each half into an oblong shape 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick.
Brush grill grate with garlic flavored olive oil. Carefully place one piece of dough on hot grill. The dough will begin to puff almost immediately. When the bottom crust has lightly browned, turn the dough over using two spatulas. Working quickly, brush oil over crust, and then brush with 2 tablespoons tomato sauce. Arrange 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes, 1/8 cup sliced black olives, and 1/8 cup roasted red peppers over crust. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese and 2 tablespoons basil. Close the lid, and cook until the cheese melts. Remove from grill, and set aside to cool for a few minutes while you prepare the second pizza.

I have an alternative I am using myself.... I for one absoluteley love the first BioShock game.
That game gets me distracted so much I kinda forget 'bout sto...

Try some older game that you remember you loved playing and install that again...

I know, it isnt startrek online but you can still satiate that hunger to play a video game... And look at something different for some time so that you can jump into sto with a slightly fresher mind... :)

I have some older Star Trek games. I might just do that. Though I am much more interested in an online game (a stable one).

    Here is the cause:

Verizon & L3 may be down...

    http://internetpulse.net/

    http://www.internettrafficreport.com/main.htm

There is a storm on the east coast causing havoc w/ the electric & telecom grids.

Comcast has connectivity to parts of the Internet only.

STO players may want to try connecting via a VPN in Europe, if they have access to such a resource. Those pipes may be clogged now too though.

The mains are down, aux power is not responding, we're adrift.

It's kind of like the episode where all the enterprises from parallel universes started showing up. It's not just STO that's intermittantly offline, lots of sites are offline.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Hey Cryptic, any clue when you guys will adjust your hardware to deal with increased loads? Or will these crashes be par for the course when Legacy of Romulus goes live?
