Android BOFF Claim bug (NM!)

I'm at ESD and tried to claim my Android, saw they added all the other professions now and wanted to claim a Female Android Science. Went to add them to my crew, but discovered it had magically become a Male Android Engineer. I tried to claim another Female Android Science and was told I had reached my limit, so I discarded the Male Android Engineer and now it won't let me get another.
EDIT: I logged off and back on and now I have a Female Android Science in my Officer Candidates.

EDIT: It can take a few moments for the game to register that you've discarded your BOFF, and then give you the option to reclaim. Glad you were able to get the BOFF you were looking for
