The reason is probably we're still in closed beta, but still, why are new Fed/KDF characters unable to play the new six-part Romulan mission series?
And also, since we can't play them, we can't skip them either (it's greyed out)
Well probably because they're only for Romulans. It wouldn't make sense for anyone who is not a Romulan/Reman refugee to play them. The missions are designed to bring the Romulans to New Romulus. Those missions are actually a few months in the past compared to the rest of the game. You would have to go back in time to do them.
We will be bringing TRIBBLE down to update to a new build.
General:
Bridge Officers should no longer go MIA after changing maps.
They were restive, to the point of disloyalty.
After granting some leave on Risa, the crew is ready to return to active duty.
This still persists, to some extent, but is now just a minor annoyance.
Replication steps:
1 - go into normal space and fix your stations if they're broken.
2 - beam down to a ground map.
2a - open your stations window, and they'll be broken again. don't touch them.
3 - beam back up to normal space.
3a - open your stations window and they should be set as normal.

I can understand that, but given the fact those six-part missions are in the Fed/KDF mission journals, and we can't play OR skip them... it means newly-created Tribble characters are limited to other sources of XP to level up from that point on, which is slow going (that's why I posted my reply).
Even if we can't play them (yet), we should at least be able to skip them for now.
Was named Trek17.
Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.
Testing Fire at Will with the Experimental Romulan Beam Array no longer has physical damage 0 lines since it was fixed on 5-3. Looking at the tooltip it no longer shows it as using weapon power during a FAW. This is good as I see it's being worked on. I have not tested it to see if it actually is or is not using weapon power. So I can't confirm if it's fixed or not.
Using Fire at Will and any beam weapon still shows it's NOT using the [dmg] modifier for any beam weapon. So I will also assume it's not using the [acc] modifier as well. Limited testing still shows a lower then normal crit % as well. See my test results of FAW issues. Please ensure all of these issues are looked into. http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=608681&page=9. Until this is fixed there is no reason to use advanced fleet weapons of any kind as they all have [dmg] modifiers and would actually be a downgrade vs non fleet weapons. You'd be better off using purple mk xii beams with [CrtD]x3 or [CritH] [CrtD]x2 as you'd get the full benefit of these modifiers. For comparison Beam Overload IS showing [dmg] modifiers as working correctly.
And an FYI. BOFF Leadership skill is still not stacking.
We already have access to those. Go visit the flotilla, there is a vendor which offers all kinds of (common) Romulan ground weaponry from all Tiers.
I am thinking that it is the common, generic- plasma/disruptor weapons, and not the TNG/DS9 version of the Romulan disruptor that we are all familiar with. But I will double check in case I am wrong. I appreciate the feedback either way, thank you.

No. The ones in the flotilla are different plasma. They weapons have "specials" and are slightly different versions
IIRC the ones in the command center on the Epooh petting zoo are either "standard" plasma for dilith or are Starfleet for credits. I guess they could be KDF for some people.
But the offerings at the Flotilla are different than the command center.
Since we cant get into cloak and dagger there isnt a really good ground map to test weapons.
What we need to test is if our BOs can or are using the charged specials from the flotilla weapons
This refers to Tier 1 only, as they're the only Warbirds with access to only a single Singularity ability. The T5 T'varo Retrofit has more standard Warbird power settings.
Not to be negative nancy here but we still have aprox 30 plus missions yet to be done as a romulan character, not to mention running missions with our our allies side of the story as well (which I might add is not possible from what my fleet mates tried yesterday)
Plus the DOFF system is still wonkers beyond all hell for copy paste methods
and we are 2 weeks from going live...with tons untested and still more refining to do with what we currently have..are we going to see a tribble push this week for the rest of the normal romulan story arcs at least?
I noticed about 30% of the VO's dialogue is missing in the tutorial. I for example: talking to the farmer - 1st page of reading is fine - 2nd page skipped - 3rd resumes.
This is through out the tutorial .
The pop up assistance tags are popping up in front of the dialogue.
All in all LOVE the VO work and the voices picked for the scripting. Bravo.
Just wondering are we no longer able to claim the VA ship token on the Romulan side for the 600 day reward as lifetime subscribers on Tribble. I was hoping to try the Haakona to see if I wanted to go Ha'apax or Mogai for launch but it won't register the 600 day as complete granting me the token.

thats fairly subjective. I dont think they are very good. And they take away from my gaming experience. And some of them are obviously the same guy trying to change his voice.
Hate listening to Tovan.
Hiven is well - bad. Just bad. Takes away from the game.
The captain of the San Antonio sounds like Dudley Do Right. Its like the Captain from Futurerama beamed in.

Given the choice I would turn off the VO.
You mean you can't?
A world to defend
A city to protect
innocents to save
"Why?" They ask "they hate you"
We're heroes it's what we do.

What I meant by generic plasma is that they are the same plasma effects as all the other republic stuff. I have no problems with their plasma weapons per se, but I'd love to have the TNG/DS9 disruptors weapons we have seen in Star Trek. I am not asking for something any more special than what the other factions have. The Feds have standard phasers with canon sound and effects, same with Klingon hand disruptors. The Tal Shiar NPCs already have the series Romulan weapons. If you put disruptors weapons on the ships, then those effects are canon, minus green photon torpedoes.
