Ok, misleading title.
Reputation leveling is, to put it plainly, overkill for people playing many characters and it's about to get worse at Nukara.
Could you add a "reputation bonus" of some kind that is account-wide to ease it up?

Having many characters has it's advantages in some areas, I guess the reputation system isn't one of them.
I currently have 11 Feds and 8 KDF chars. I completed the Omega and NR reputation on 4 of them. I don't have it in me to do it for the rest, especially when Romulans are arriving soon.
Oh yeah new Romulan and Reman alts, I forgot. Just disruptor me now please before I lose my job.
Really would be nice if the team adds in account systems for Reputation and accolades. Because from what we have currently on Tribble, is going to be a MAJOR grindfest far worse than the Omega and Romulan systems. Romulan system you at least got Epohhs and Omega had Elite STFs that gave you enough marks to last a while. But not with the Tholian system.
And for the life of me, I don't understand why Romulans have to grind Romulan reputation when the story is that you're helping found the Romulan Republic. Surely you would have plenty of Reputation in of itself just by doing that. :rolleyes:
Considering what I did on Tribble as a Romulan, I'm the greatest hero of the republic ever. But no epohhs, no gear !
Romulan reputation i only managed to "grind" for all my 6 characters by getting winter eppohs like mad! That way i had nearly sufficent to get to t5 with all of them.
So if there are new tholian type stfs...i'm ok grinding it. If grinding tholian marks is exclusive to nukara prime...then i don't bother with it at all. It is "old" content anyway. I could easily see crystaline catastrophy as beeing such a mission that i would grind 1-2 times per day if the mark reward is somewhere at around 100.
Whatever is unlocked should be acct wide.
Forcing us into this Rep system was unnecessary imo.
Especially for players like me who were enjoying the pre-Season 7 STF's and very little else in the game.
If Cryptic wants to square things up with ME, they could add another Rep tier specifically for us STF players.
No x # of enery cells or large hypos nonsense.
# of normal STF space missions + x # BNP's = Assimilated Deflector/Engine/Shield Mk XI
# of elite STF space missions + x # BNP's = Omega-MACO-KHG-Assimilated Deflector/Engine/Shield Mk XII, Cutting beam, Assimilated module, Omega torp.
If they want to really impress me, they could add special ships to the list, like an assimilated Raptor and Tactical Escort.
They can give Roxy her old job back at DS9.

I get what you mean about STF's helping to boost Omega marks, but I don't understand what you meant about the Epohhs... How does that help you get more marks??

Thats a lack of imagination...
You can turn in Epohhs for Marks, the further you raised them with doff assignments the more marks you get. And you could get tons with the winter epohhs during the Christmas event.

Because if you raise Epohhs to Elder, you can get 400 Romulan Marks for turning them in. :rolleyes:
Using alts to bypass the dilithium cap is an inefficient use of time. If you're really inclined to play the game as if it were a job, you might as well get a job and buy the dilithium. Even panhandling would convert into more dilithium per hour than grinding dilithium in-game across multiple characters, and you'd meet more interesting people, no less.
