Help! Can't Log On

I was leaving my Embassy, picked my boff companion, hit accept and then boom STO disappeared. The Cryptic 'what happened' window appeared, i explained, submitted, then tried to relog.

I entered my password and for Holo, Tribble and/or Redshirt it says 'Patching' but there is no movement on this front. No progress bar or anything else for an hour now. :(

Any suggestions from a dev or anyone else who has experienced the same thing? Thanks!

    Read a different thread with a suggestion from BranFlakes to hit control+x and file a report, but I am unable to do so. The white report screen shows briefly when I hit Control +x but disappears as soon as I let go of the buttons.

    I have never ever had logging problems before.
