Pls HELP to create a PvP team + coaching Newbees

Welcome guys,

I have been around since the game exist. I was always PvPing since back then. Now a days if you join the PvP Queues you either face premades with a lot of " Pay2Win " consoles or you solo and nobody seems to know how to send heals, assist on your target etc. If you want to be good you need a team to back you up + the teamwork must be there.

Are you tired of no support from your team?

You want to play fair however it seems nobody cares?

Now that is my point:

1. I want to open a PvP team that doesn't use unfair, broken or overpowered skills.

2. I want, with the help of some friends, to coach Newbees or even Veterans to get good or even better in PvP.

3. The big goal is to create a team together and participate inside the next PvP League
( which I will announce after Romulan launch ).

So if you want to play fair and be part of a ( new ) PvP team and or coach other players read the text below carefully or contact me ingame @pascalb1

1. Join with 1 ( Optional: or more ) of your toons our fleet Eryon FED or Eryon KDF

2. The fleet is only there to PvP and coaching

3. We do not work on the Starbase ( You do that in your actual fleet )

4. No obligations except of have fun and join us on Teamspeak 3

5. ( Optional ) http://eryonmgc.clangroups.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=475013&TabID=4101129

Coaches so far: @TheNextRS @Hbcam @zpazezip @pascalb1

Hallo Leute,

5. ( Optional ) http://eryonmgc.clangroups.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=475013&TabID=4101129

Trainier schon verf?gbar: @TheNextRS @Hbcam @zpazezip @pascalb1

Best regards/ Mit freundlichen Gr??en

Eryon

1- who determines whats "unfair, broken or overpowered skills"? "unfair" alone covers just about everything in the game, broken covers a lot and overpowered does too.

2-i thought this is what the pvp bootcamp was supposed to do?

3- so i take it you'll basically be training your team for the league that you will be creating way before the actual league will take place?

1- so to take part in your training you HAVE to join your fleet with at least one toon? can it just be a smurf toon if we dont have an available toon to send over there? or does it have to be the toon you want us to train with?

Frankly, I think the only sound advice that one can give new players at this time is to stay away from PVP in STO.

Thank you for the game today as a newbie to PvP I found it enjoyable.

Don't know if I will be doing more PvP's in the future but if I do I am glad that there is a place like this for people like myself.

See you around and thanks again.

I'm interested, very interested. I've thought of doing something like this myself, so it makes sense to combine our efforts.

I do have two conditions though:

    1. A minimum standard for students. No engineers for starters, and nobody that refuses to use voice comms. At this formative stage, a single bad egg is all it takes to derail a potential premade.

    2. I'm not going to join your fleet.

This sounds more like hes still living in Season 1/2, unfortunately the game has expanded.

Perhaps try and reverse engineer this game, set up your own Server and use the original STO CD's/DVD so you can play on a clean server?

I'm a staunch believer in playing the game how you want to play.

Even if that means bringing the cheese.

I used to use AMS, Vent Theta, and Subspace Jumper.

Now I just use cloak, Elite fleet shields, and one SNB DOFF. Those would probably be the only objectionable things in my build (and I include mines in objectionable equipment). I chose to play this way so there would be no excuses when I beat them.

Even still, I do not feel it is my place to dictate how others want to play their game. If they want to play like me, that is up to them. And I am certainly willing to assist someone in making their build similar to mine if they want. If they want to use cheese, that's up to them as well. And, it's all the more sweeter when I still end up destroying them when they chose to bring the cheese.

I want to encourage players--especially less experienced ones--to join up with what Pascal/Eryon is doing here. I had the privilege of learning PvP from him for about 3-4 months and he vastly expanded my horizons. Almost every time i team up with him I learn something new. He is not only a good player but a great teacher. The more people helping out newer players the better.

I'll PvP with you but I'm done trying to fix Cryptic's game. I don't run hacks and I don't use bugs that need to be deliberately exploited with special techniques, rather than "bugs" that are "exploited" just by equipping an item or using a power. Aside from that, it's a broken, imbalanced, buggy game, but it's the game we have, and if I'm going to play it then that's the game I'm going to play.

PVP boot camp has been a fail so maybe this will work. I thought bootcamp was going to bring new blood into the q. PVP is dead in this game 30 minutes for a pop then its a 3 on 3 or 4 on 4. I have seen no improvement in the pugs gameplay or any new players.

Was bootcamp just a gimmick to take our minds off the real problem with the game wich is that the game is BROKEN. I guess pvp bootcamp was a success for some to make themselves feel special and important and for some podcasts to get some advertisement. As far as bringing new players into the q or making the pugs better it was a fail.

the state of the game is what it is. If you wish to assign blame, I would like to remind you of 3years of neglect, and a systems lead too scared to balance the game because of forum rage.

Bootcamp seems an odd target to assign blame to.

I didnt blame bootcamp for pvp being what it is i said it was a fail at trying to save it. Maybe from an RP perspective of people being teachers and having studen lol its a great success but i dont RP. The fact is the queues are still dead and pugs still play like pugs.

The only thing i see is alot of time and resources being spent on merging RP with PVP. When cryptic should be using those resources to fix the game not trying to get more people to play a broke one.

Its like trying to sell a house you have an open house with garbage all over it everything is broken 400 people show up and you expect the bids on the house to come rolling in lol. Thats not how it works first clean the house fix the broken sink then invite the 400 customers to check it out.

Really mate I was the one who created it. Talk to StokeRadio they will hopefully also clearify that. He didn't have the information he had afterwards.

Next time please ask other people before saying something like that mate.

I am ferne@timejumpers i have a level 50 sci with no rep yet still kind of new to the game about 2 months but i have read alot about pvp and done alot of testing on some builds.

I dont have reputation because i hate pve is it needed? I have TS3 but no mic is a mic needed? I have a mirror dssv because im broke is that ok?

If all that is ok then yes i would love to learn from someone. I was going to do bootcamp but it seemed to rpish for me this sounds more like pvp to me.

I'm going to disagree here. Bootcamp helped me quite a bit. I also noticed a positive change in many of my opponents.
