New Drozana interior feedback.

I love the new Drozana interior but you know what it's missing? A tailor, especially now that there's a mission that provides a costume there. Who wants to fly back to ESD, K7 or wherever, just to change clothes?

Agreed, it does need a tailor. However, I like the version still on holodeck simply because it has an old station feel. The new version is streamlined to a point where it feels like all the other space stations. The 'old' version feels unique and plus it used the layout from the TOS mission.

I kind of agree with that to be honest. I mean, I like the new layout but the other one had something. Also if you are going with the new layout, dirt and grit it up. The Ferangi know that paying for janitors would decrease their profits, that's why they acquired a crappy falling apart station in the first place.

Call me crazy but i like the new look of Drozana, it looks horrible in the old fashion and attracted a bad crowd of ppl.

I think it's interesting, how they changed it. But, I simply wonder if the changes apply to the Devidian missions and it'll be the same layout back in the TOS times. (Forgive me if I'm not certain what century that's supposed to take place.)

I like it, even though it looks like a high class Burlesque house. at least Cryptic is aware of the kinds of people who go there.

fire safety will still be of great importance in the renovated Drozana.:D

I hate the new Drozana layout. You beam into a tiny transporter room and go down this stupidly long hallway. And the bar is insanely large with this lonely strip full of vendors that aren't going to get used.

Cryptic should've left well enough alone, there was no need to revise it. Now it doesn't even match Night of the Comet.

They should've not wasted resources like that and instead revised older zones. They still yet to add the Security Office and the Infirmery on DS9. Which we been waiting for years for them to add.

Actually I don't really care for the interior, because its suppose to be kinda between the old 23rd and 24th century styles. Fergengi wouldn't keep a dark place like that all over, I know in the show it seemed that way....but then really how can you tell someone was cheating?

And one holo dabo girl? really? Where are the watiresses walking around? Its an entertainment club, why not have a dance area like at ESD.

Also the vendors there will not get used at all and I agree with that comment.

Well, that is a good point. Maybe they need to put that section back in adjacent to the new ones.

I think the old design was more fitting. The addition of the transporter pad is decent, but overall the new Drozana was "meh". The bar no longer looks like a bar, but rather a cafeteria. Vendor placement was like some wierd craft show or convention, and the bank/exchange/mail terminals look like an afterthought. An the dabo table just plopped out in the middle of the cavernous space makes me think of a ping-pong tournament.

If this stuff were in addition to the old Drozana (via turbolift or something), I could get behind it...but as a replacement, it simply underwhelms. Are they planning to re-do the Devidian FE to acommodate the new design? (I actually did notice the "what's wrong with the lights" dialogue in the new Drozana)

A tailor is definitely in order as well, especially given the Romulan arc as already mentioned.

I don't see it as an issue. Over a century passes.... why would it look the same at all? A century of minor repairs should make the place have an almost completely different decor....

Sure, the shape of the new bar area would be a major change, but... enh... so what?

I could take or leave the New Drozana layout.

I did see Devidians appear there on my return from the infiltration mission.

The blue light effects kicked in and the Devidians appeared in the hall way just passed the ship selection officer that you encounter at beam in.

I agree that this new looking Drozana would be better suited if it were an extra floor or something to the existing station.

Personally I like the new layout, but the guy who mentioned dirtying it up had a good idea and point. It just doesn't feel like Drozana anymore. Keep the new layout, but dirty it up. Make it look more like a dive, like the one we currently have on Holodeck. This new one...it looks too clean.

Am not a fan of Drozana station. The reason being, how long can an old station like that Lasts. If you want to give as a station run by the ferengi, then give one with the current timeline. Something like this

    http://memory-gamma.wikia.com/wiki/File:Drozana_Station.png

This is how I would love a Ferengi station to be like. The game sometime doesn't present it self like we are in the 25th Century at all.

I don't mind the new station. It's bigger, which I always thought was soemthign it needed. It could use a tailor though.

I think the new Drozana interior is an improvement on the old one. It does look a bit too clean and tidy though. It's not only old, but Ferengi run, and any corners they can will be cut. Dive it up a bit... maybe even add a few more shady elements? Unsavory looking patrons... maybe some extra "gaming" tables like tongo or something clustered in around the Dabo table. And, yes.. hesitantly I say, maybe even some dancing girls, orions or some such. It'll probably styill be a hot bed or trollery when it goes live, but at least it will look appropriate to the venue you're trying to portray.

I thought it was ok. Needs a tailor maybe a few more npcs to make it feel like its being used. as mentioned it looks a little too tidy the station is old and outdated it should feel that way.

^This. I'm kind of non-commital on the station. Didn't spend much time there, due to the clientel it attracted prior to the fix, and if it stays the same, I won't spend much time there afterwards. Just not my scene is all.

I also agree its a bit... big... for such a small station. And it certainly needs a tailor. I hate having to fly back to the flotilla to change into my cool new duds.

Yea... Drozana needs a Tailor. And the new layout doesn't quite have the same rusty, run down feel as the current version on Holodeck.

The Vendor area has some possibilities though, if they weren't all selling the same things. Maybe have one who specalizes in pistols, another doing rifles, a third doing heavy weapons...

Drozana's always been the "Red Light District" of STO thanks to its run down appearance. Just missing the dancing girls.

It's not even missing those. 1-2mil EC will get you an Orion girl on your table for up to an hour.
