    If we are Admirals, then we should be doing Admiral content. Admirals command ships so not just one ship. Personally, I don't care if Tier 6 ships are added or not if there is an appropriate system in place to compensate us for our C-Store ships and Lockbox ships. My suggestion is that currently we can only use one ship and the rest are in drydock. So promoting our bridge officers to captain and they command some of our unused ships. Some captains would pilot ships that we send on missions similar to the Duty Officer system while others will be part of our personal fleet that helps us in combat.

    The only other suggestion that has made sense to me is splitting up the new levels so we can choose which path to take. If I want to be an Admiral, then I get various abilities to improve my fleet in combat. If I want to be a pure Captain, then I get various abilities to improve my ship in combat over the usual abilities. The paths could be connected so rank is based on the amount of Admiral abilities a character has. So having no Admiral skills makes the character a Captain. Having a couple of Admiral skills makes the character a Fleet Captain. Having a lot of Admiral skills makes the character an Admiral.
    (But again, Admiral would still be achieveable for those people who want it - by actually leading a true fleet (as a guild leader).

    So you are advocating people to quit their fleet and start a new one just to be an Admiral? Because this is what is going to happen if Admirals are limited to being fleet leaders.

    kumari is better in pve than a bug? not a chance. that 5th weapon slot will not make up for the incredible amount of damage the bug can withstand.
    there is no such thing as a 'pve build' that outperforms a tuned pvp ship in pve. when ppl say 'my ship is dialed in for pve' that means 'i have crappy gear'.

    No, he's saying the Admiral Title should be optional.

    At the moment, the second you reach level 50, every NPC refers to you as an Admiral when some of us would rather them refer to us as Captains. The rank of Admiral should be optional, just as the other extended titles are.

    I am all for people being able to choose what rank npcs refer to them as since it is a lot better than having npcs refer to people as Moist or some other idiotic title and players should have some choice in the background of their character. However, their suggestion is that if you want to be an Admiral, then you must be a Fleet Leader. Problems with that is to get that rank, then a player has to quit the fleet and create a new one or become a Fleet Leader. I could belong to a fleet and pester my Fleet Leaders to be a Fleet Leader so I can get the Admiral rank. After the Fleet Leaders log off for the day, then I could effectively destroy the Fleet by kicking out almost everyone and taking everything from the fleet bank. There are always well-meaning and naive Fleet Leaders that could be harmed from this. There are many people that rather be Admirals than Captains and both issues can deal harm to others for just a title.

    There's zero point to raising the level cap. All the things they ever talked about implementing in regards to the increased levels/ranks, can be implemented under the current level cap.

    I'd like the ability to queue-up for more than just 3 events at a time .
    Or , lest Cryptic mis-interprets this request -- I would like to queue up to at least 5 PVE events + the ability to queue up to at least 4-5 PVP events .
    All at the same time .

    Other than that -- the usual :
    New STF's + the re-introduction of the old versions of the STF's (along side their new versions) .

    soooo at first I was against ten more levels but come to think of it this might actually force them to put science captain science ship skills that work in the game.

    I wonder how they have gone with their plan to increase the level cap like is it still on the cards or have they decided to persue a different path?

    Cryptic whats the state of play with this will it be happening anytime soon or not? :)

    I would be interested too. My only thought, regarding the rank names, I think Cryptic are too far inside their own plasma injectors to be able to change things now. ;)


    As for the OP: Well .... as for Deferea space ... I think the Voth have [possibly unfortunately] taken centre stage.


    Level 60 could definitely do some with a FE series, to get us there, I think.

    I would certainly like to see that, and maybe some more, faction independent, player powers.
    Hopefully I'll come back from my break; this break is fun; I play intellectual games.

    YES to level 60 AND 70, ONLY changes: Level 60 get the ability to assign a BOff and bridge crew to pilot a starship as your "escort" or DOff like missions

    Level 70: 2 of those instead

    no MKIII gear EVER,

    new Rep, new abilities/skills/traits

    No T5 200 year old ships that are not in the weight or technological advancement class to fight modern ships EVER.

    I do NOT want space squad combat, ground combat is Fubar enough as is.


    I wouldnt mind T6 ships, Though I would prefer a unique upgrade and not just a extra console slot

    I would like a ambassador assignment at 60 allowing players to visit the other factions zone, as well as a end to the war

    More skill point customization, or a rework of the skill point system

    Much stronger lvl 60 baddies to fight

    lvl cap increase? YES!

    - new ship tier? NO!

    i would proceed by (revamping crafting) allowing us to UPGRADE our existing T4-5 ships.
    +1 console slot, +1 deflector slot for sci, +1 weapon slot or.. +3 turn rate.. something along these lines..

    - new equipment tier? Yes! BUT - what is with all the MK XII stuff we gain through reputations?
    now, every ONE piece costed us 32k dill. es is something else to go just grind new stuff (as in WOW) and something else to grind for it, pay it, and then without the possibility of upgrading stuff becomes obsolete..

    they could:
    - automatically upgrade all the REPUTATION MKXII stuff to MKXIV
    - let us upgrade out REPUTATION MKXII stuff to MKXIV per rep projects, and we could from the available modificators in process, paid with some rep points and some dill..

    this is probably the way i would have preffered.

    What would you want if the level limit was riased by 10?
    I'd want everyone to wise up and quit the game in rage. The Devs need to fix existing problems before they increase the level cap and add higher ranking gear. There is so much left unfinished with the game, and so many things that have been asked for (realistic requests) that are sidelined for something that isn't a main priority.

    I predict if this happens, then everyone who has invested a **** load of resources in Mk XII Fleet Gear is going to RIOT.

    all these new constructive points including my own post is considered spam after 30 days without activity for a thread and after that its buried and should of remain buried. you should of started up a new thread at that point.

    If a Level Cap Increase means that there will be a new Tier of gear, i do not want a Level Cap at all. I have no willingness to reequip all my toons again so i can enter PvP.
    To get my Toons to the point they are right now, took much more than enough time.

    And seriously, there won't be any new Content in matter of FE, with a Level Cap Increase. Just more Grind Content.

    I don't think the game really needs a higher level cap at the moment. What Cryptic really needs to do is overhaul a lot of PvE queues, to make them fun and rewarding enough. If you look at the PvE list it is so sad to see, how long it it but how little most of the missions are played. That would also massively increase the endgame content, that people can play.
