Bridge Officer Training Bug

I was recently training up some new bridge officers, comissioning new bridge officers to train their skills, promoting them etc. While doing so, I encountered a serious bug: When trying to replace bridge officer skills with new ones, nothing happens when I hit the button. Also, when I try to increase the ranks in a given skill for oen of my bridge officers, when I press accept, all of them revery to their previous state and my points are returned. Changing instances, changing characters, adn restarting the game had zero effect on this bug whatsoever. This is rather annoying as you can no doubt tell, and I'm not quite sure if the glitch is unique to that one character or not. Has anyone else encountered this glitch before?
