I think it's about time this game brought in ideas from other games the MASS EFFECT doom effect would be amazing all out war and every race unite to destroy one common foe
Yes because CLEARLY destroying nearly the ENTIRE ROMULAN REPUTATION AREA is such a great idea ... serious ...
New Romulus exists FOR characters that reached lv50 and are doing the Romulan reputation, its linked to EVERY Romulan Reputation Mission so how would you solve this? this ISNT a TV series ... this is a game and that area of the game HAVE to exist, unless you want a paradox were the zone exist BOTH and before and after making no much sense.
Or ir could be like Defera. Two different maps for two different sections of the same planet.
I kinda think it's a Romulan guy carrying a human. Most Romulans don't have hair that long. But... most... it can happen.

To me the hair doesn't necessarily look long, just unkept. true, that is also not very "romulan" but considering the scene. I would say it is an after effect and not the "norm".
The uniform definitely looks romulanish. Intriguing to say the least. I just hope Cryptic knows what they are doing, with all this teasing and build up the "Update formerly known as Season 8" Had best be HUGE or they are going to have some angry people.
If it is a FE series with Iconian/Tal Shiar tie-ins it needs to have one thing at some point in the series in order for it to be successful.....
My toon needs to be able to kill Slamek. Preferably, it should be a stabbie death and his last words, right before he dies, should be "It's becoming too dark......"
The game makes assumptions, you can skip missions and the game will think you have played the mission since that is the assumption made.
I'm not sure this is always the case. When I played Facility 4208 with my main toon, Amar Singh made all sorts of noise about Starfleet sending him the one who put him in prison in the first place.
When I played the same mission on an alt, Amar Singh made no such reference - instead treating me like a Starfleet Officer he had never met.
The difference? I had played the Ultimate Klingon on the first toon, but not the second...
Notwithstanding this - your point does generally stand. The game is based on a lot of assumptions. But there are some exceptions.

An option to punch Franklin Drake at some point would also be most welcome.

That's how I imagine it will play out. The races of the Alpha/Beta Quadrants unite to defeat their common enemy, which paves the way towards real peace in the galaxy.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
I can only assume that line was taken out of context because it's terrible by itself.:P It's so bad the equivalent would be something like "there's a good chance some people will die to guns in the intimidate future" or "People May die occasionally in war.":P
That said now I'm hyped don't fail me now cryptic!:D
I have a feeling it's a new FE - and the romulan text they're now updating every week (it seems as it started last week when the timer went up) are the titles of the FE episodes; thus to date we have:
Episode 1 title: "March Beneath The Raptor's Wings"
Episode 2 title: "Our Shadow Will Dim The Stars"
Episode 3 title: "Some Will Fall"
with two more to come....:D
^^^^
Note: The above is PURE SPECULATION on my part.
It's like they're making their own Lantern Corps Oath.
My guess is that New Romulus -including eppos and rep and all season 7- is gonna burn and we are gonna time-travel to season 6 or maybe 5. Now that would be a great update.

You realize you just described Defera, right?
I WAS going to suggest D'Tan and the scientist that's hanging around, but the hair on the woman is wrong for her.
Play Star Trek: Allegiance - my first series in the Foundry
They could definitely do like missions involving DS9... This allows you to play in a damaged station in its own instance while the "real" DS9 hub is still out there for the community to enjoy. Apply that to new Romulus.
Hm i agree... I doubt its poor T'its getting Raynored on the picture. Unless she lost some fingers.
Starcraft rips off a lot from other things, so its fine.
Maybe Iconians have three fingers but they don?t seem to have long flowing hair... at least not that I could see that after reaching T5 with Romulan rep system. :P

Actually I like the idea of a Stabbie death for him too. But I could settle for a punch in the face I suppose.
Their concept artist definitely does.

That is pretty awesome looking.
And I like your avatar v4liance.
I must have missed that.
Not at all. They're ripping off StarCraft II instead.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

Or, it can be a romulan woman with a mutilated hand, or ...well..anything.
Or just a "cool picture" with nothing beyond it, vulcan or iconian. Heh
They've started a tradition of quasi-sexist imagery in the supposedly egalitarian Star Trek, why stop now?
