Auto-attack non-functional

Good evening,

I've noticed that whatever option you choose for auto-attack - be it space or ground - it doesn't stick. Meaning that if you chose "Auto-attack, cancel on switch" the game doesn't keep that setting. It's still as if you've chosen "none".

This is incredibly irritating. It worked about two patches ago on my Fed toon when I set it up and it still works but whenever I try to set up the game to suit my playstyle on a new toon, it won't stick.

Is there a work-around for this or do I have to wait for yet another patch and hope it fixes stuff the current patch broke?

Did you remember to designate weapons for auto-attack?

Designate? By that you mean equipping them? I don't see anything else I can do. I know for sure I didn't do anything specific on my federation toon a while ago when I replaced weapons on it and enabled auto-attack in the options menu.

no, right-click on a specific weapons you want to autofire, them'll be marked with green frame and only those will use autofire option

I've had this problem before. Fortunately my main was set up with the same binds and screen layout I wantd to use account-wide before this bug started.

In order to fix your alts just log into your main toon (or whichever one it is where your auto-fire options are correct) and save the UI. Doing so will save a whole bunch of settings, including autofire toggle options. Then switch to your alts that need to have autofire changed and load the UI you just saved. IIRC it brings your keybinds with it, so if you use keybinds and you don't want to lose special binds on any of those alts be sure to save your bind file BEFORE loading the UI so you can restore the binds when you're done.
