fleet kamarang bugs
first the new bug. the fleet kamarang neck has 2 issues. on 1 side there is a yellow glow in a small indent, on the other side there is not. below that in a small indent there is a twin torp launcher skin showing up, but again only on 1 side

noticed this since its launch, figured it was too obvious to miss and would be caught by now
like the fed vet ship, its warp engines are supposed to adjust during warp out and wile in sector space.
well
the kdf vet ship does not have its nacelles extended when its in sector space, thats the bug i guess. they extend right before it jumps to warp, and as it enters a system they are still extended, seen here

also what look to be 'bortas like' impulse engines actually appear to be flagged as warp engines, the are used when the ship ejects warp plasma,

and when the borg set visuals are on , what supposed to go on the nacelles is attached to the main hull in front of them

the actual impulse engines appear to be the 2 small yellow triangles, so why is that big, and sorta ugly, bortas like engine grill on the ship at all?
ktinga bug
when the game swaps to a lower quality model when your camera far enough away, the model it switches to for the ktinga looks better, has glowing engine and a glow on the front of it's 'mission pod' or whatever you want to call it. since the fleet ktinga is an end game ship now, i would really like the one i fly to look as good as that npc, when your far enough away from it

it appears the low and high quality model is switched. since our ship only displays the high quality model, we don't get to see glows, they are only visible on npcs when we are farther away from them. the ktinga model is by far the blandest, low quality model in game, these glows would go a long way toward making it more attractive.

Ship customisation NPC is delusional and thinks it's a Draguas ship, demands I pay 1500 ZEN for NO changes what so ever.
I've had this KDF Fleet ship for a year now and sent in a dozen or more tickets about it. nothing... as usual... Craptic... :mad:
Oh and one more thing... When are we gonna catch up with Fed side as far as available ship models and character costumes eh?
Why put out another playable faction when the first alternative is already severely neglected.

I know that it can be really discouraging to lodge a civil complaint and see it go nowhere, maybe even repeatedly, but attacking and insulting the developers is not likely to make them want to help you.
I have great faith in constructive criticism, but I really think that showing civility can only help our case-- at least when compared with antagonizing the dev-team.
Okay, soapbox over, now onto the bug.
I've been flying a Varanus support vessel for quite some time now, and I've noticed that its repair platform's signature masking effect seems to do nothing. It dims lights of my ship and repair drones while we're nearby, but it doesn't seem to provide any sort of stealth for the platform or the ships nearby.
It is possible that I'm using it wrong or expecting too much of it, but if it can't hide me or my platform from a ship over 16 km away while I'm not on red alert (I tested it on Hive Onslaught recently), I've got to assume it's not working right.
... also, my game client seems unable to connect to the bug-reporting system to view existing tickets, so I have no idea if the in-game bug report I submitted made it through. Hence this post.
EDIT: I forgot to mention-- if the signal masking effect is working correctly and I'm just looking at the whole situation wrong, I'd love to hear it-- so that I know what to expect of this ability. Thanks!

I actually tracked that one down and put in a putative fix for it. Not sure when it will go live.

Really? It was the petaQ at the controls, right?! I executed a couple, but the new transporter officer always ended up doing the same.

and the kdf vet ship having its nacelles actually extend in sector space, that would be real cool! you know what i bet will have working animations in sector space? the romulan vet ship thats presumably getting worked on.
