The wells and the Aeon are both shown in the show. Both at "present" time.
Today captain flying those ship is a bit far fetched, but it's more probable than having them flying Borg ship, full of nanodrones, with the borg that want to bring it back to the collective, that need heavy refitting to add necessary equipment (replicator, crew quarters...). Also, those ships require a crew of 4000people, that do not complain, get tired, or feel pain. Even if most of them are not necessary to handle the ship, that's still a big crew.

And having to fly Borg ship would make them even less scary than they are.

True but they dont actually stick around so captains can pilot them, not to mention the Temporal Destroyer. Even having some of the weapons from the 29th century, rifle, pistol, even the outfits lol. All Im saying is that if those arent earth shattering for players then I doubt some borg ships are going to make a diffence in the whole grand scheme of things. Some may not like it some may. And also.. its not sappose to make sense.. its a game hehe, just saying.

Will see how this year pans out if we actually get them or not.

You guys are looking at this wrong.

What story there is in this game is pretty weak to be fair, it only in there so players can lvl up to 50 and get their gear. After that the game turns into monster mash ala capcom vs marvel (a one on one fighting game where one can pit Spiderman against Megaman for example).

Theres a lot of talk on here about how the wells is out of place what with it being from the 29th century.
In this game, time is meaningless, 3 years have past since launch yet in game the date hasnt changed, the sun has never set over starfleet academy, and ive yet to see any planets actually rotate.

I have to admit, seeing a playable borg cube would be a total facepalm to me seeing how my existing ships have all trounced MANY cubes before, but as we can tell... STO is like a foreign brothel where if youve got enough $$$ anything goes!

    Borg?

Sure thing, here's what happens when you pay to be borgerized:

-Your entire character set is assimilated
-You get the be one of the borg on a cube, which means you'll be plugged into a wall outlet staring across the corridor at another guy who bought the borgpack.
-Periodically you'll get to go to the bridge during borg-kill events in war zones or Alpha Centauri Alerts and watch players who hopelessly outgun and outmaneuver you blow your cube into little teenie bits. Expect to lose 4 out of 5 times. You get no ship equipment/station slots, boffs, special attacks or customizable weapons slots, you fly at about 15 impulse, and you can't move until you are attacked.
-For 10,000 additional Zen you can buy the Borganator Pack which lets you play the final Borg ship in the AC Alert rooms, where your odds will improve only slightly, but you get to spam regen sphere and plasma balls. Downside is that you only get to play a few times a day for about 10 minutes each.

    So were Kazon Superdreadnaughts.... :p

Imagine if one of those monsters was updated to use 2409 era weapons? Ouch....
